He is only 28 (turns 29 in November), so he is not 'old' yet. But, this is year 8 in the NFL for him. That wears a person down. He is about 2.5 years older than the average age for safeties in 2025. So I guess it all boils down to just how beat up his body has gotten. He has almost 18 million coming from base in 2026 (final contract year). So he is probably incentivized to perform this year from a financial standpoint. I hope that he does well. Always liked him.

He will probably need a good year to stick on the roster in 2026, I think his cap hit is going to be pretty big by then.

Wait, they designed him to not make big plays? So can we admit we have coaching issues? So let's change it coaches next instead of using players like a revolving door.

The team did that via Gerald Alexander to Grady Brown. That didn't end well. The team had to bring Gerald back as those years were some of Minkahs best.

Here is hoping that Minkah can return to form.

Only time will tell, I am crossing my fingers. Unless I see different
    attitude from him. Seems disinterested.

Minkah Stinkah ruined our chance to win in Buffalo playoff game.

The secondary was clicking damn good in his absence.

I think some of it had to with the coaching staff trusting the other guys in the secondary in order to let Minkah be Minkah.

    This.
I know some like to think You can just scheme anything you want, and throw it out there, but if You only have players for certain things, You run those schemes.
A stupid coach runs whatever he wants without the knowledge of the strength of his player, and what they do best.
