Don't get me wrong, I love those guys. I were GM, I'd do what I could to have clones of Megatron, Brandon Jacobs, and Jimmy Graham around Ben. Evans, Benjamin, and the like would be great, but I just don't see them going WR in the first. I'm not against it, I just don't see it happening. I would love a trade back situation that granted us an extra pick that netted Jordan Matthews. Matthews in the 2nd and Fiedorowicz in the 3rd will make this team better.

    I got ya.

This is my theory. Our drafting was SO GOOD between 2003-2008 (with some obvious exceptions) that we had a young and talented team. This is why from 2009-2012, we basically drafted for depth.

I don't think Colbert or the coaching staff has this luxury anymore. The noose has started to tighten. We don't have the luxury of drafting a Hood or a Heyward or a Worilds and let them sit on the bench anymore.

I like Mosley, but would he come in and start? Would any CB? Would even a great safety like Clinton-Dix or Shazier?

I think a big bodied WR would come in and start form Day 1.

I wouldn't be surprised if a receiver is the best player on the board draft him. There will be a need at the position Cotchery and Sanders are free agents. They could use a big physical receiver who will fight for the ball and be a target in the redzone, we got enough 5'11 or 6'0 ft receivers.

I agree with having a use for a big, physical receiver, though don't forget about Justin Brown who is 6'3".

    We can't...
Last year we went defense, which if history means anything, we go offense in the 1st round of the upcoming draft.
With that being said, there's no way we go OL, QB or RB in my opinion.
I think our 1st round pick is a target for Ben (WR, TE)
If Evans is still on the board at our pick, I'd take him without a second thought.

I would love it if Justin Brown can become that big, physical X receiver opposite AB, but to my eyes his college tape showed a guy who lacked the quickness off the line and into/out of breaks to get separation at the NFL level. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we need to look for someone again this draft.

he is more of a possession type receiver. but brown can block very well down field and be a go to guy for first downs and inside the redzone weapon. he's not here to be a #2 by any means. he can make catches with guys on him.

moye is a smoother downfield guy. he's shown me a lot of toughness and I have been impressed with the kid so far. he has shown he can make catches with guys on him too.

I think both these guys will make some noise next year with us. let's face it brown will get doubled after seasons like this one. ben brings a different game to the field then most WR's are used to. it takes these guys some time to get used to that and ben to get used to what they do. you know, on the same page. all our receivers have gone through that here.

I think we may pick a mid to late draft receiver. maybe a cody Hoffman. in addition to a good 2nd- 3rd TE
