Maybe, but I’d rather be the worst 4-0 team than the best 0-4 team.

 

I cannot speak for others but I can. Parity is not too difficult to understand if one is looking at the concept from a global perspective. When one simply looks from an isolated perspective, parity either is ignored or is nowhere to be found.


For me, Oakland actually had a better shot of beating Kansas City than others gave them credit for. Why?! Kansas City's Linebacking Unit is not well equipped to deal with Josh Jacob's. Never mind Jacobs though. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Is "isn't", when used in this context, a cultural form of "ain't"?

Since "ain't" is a contraction for "am not", which also doesn't work in that context, I'm going to guess it ain't.

 

We’re 4-0 yet some people still have to be negative and start arguments to drag others down.
We definitely need to improve in some areas if we’re going to contend with the better teams. I’m sure the team isn’t just sitting back pumping their chests thinking they can’t be beat.
I’m glad we’ve been fortunate enough to win these games while not being at our best.
