The Run Game

I think the run and check downs would open up more of the offense. And I think it would make the offense more potent.

The question is: How to spark the run game with the O-Line we have?

I say I-Formations with Johnson in at FB to block for Mendy and go straight up the gut (behind Pouncey) and/or between Starks/Legs (LT/LG). Also, run some counters to the right, pulling Legs from LG.

This should be mixed with PA passes out of the I-Form, including one or two checkdowns. PA passes should go to primary receivers Miller or Ward with Wallace taking one for the team by dragging a CB and Saftety deep. Heath can chip before releasing, Johnson on blitz pickup and RB (Mendy or Redman) releasing to the flat for check down. Once they start biting on the short, then after a few drives the deep pass to Wallace may open up even in this formation.
