It doesn't matter they own the Steelers, with that cheap secondary they still beat the Steelers in week 1 last season.

We are a better team then that team that lost to the pats. For one, we've finally got a real field goal kicker. We missed 3 makeable field goals because Scoobee was a bum. Are the pats any better, or about the same or worse? I'm not worried about them whatsoever. Just focusing in on what we need to do to get even better.

Obviously Gronkowski ran all over our secondary in week 1. We own that. Many blades of grass were left undefended.

I was hoping Shazier would have been better at covering Gronk. I feel he has the ability and length to do that and I feel a light went off for him at the end of the season.

If Shazier improves his awareness and positioning he could become an excellent cover LB. I hope he is matched vs TEs regularly.

Also... I like Jeremy Cash as a nickel back. He is fairly Polamaluesque in his line of scrimmage play (so is Sua Cravens but I think he's too big/slow for secondary). Not saying Cash will ever be as good as Troy! He won't be!

Just saying maybe the "big nickel" works finally with Cash as a 2 round pick? *Cash has not played a traditional safety role and could be a liability in a deep zone. Inthink he drops in the draft.

I think they will be a lot of eyes on Shazier this year. He's got to show something now and stop being a fragile francis.

None of those guys was a top 10 pick so there's hope. Fingers crossed.
