I also had him as a First Round grade. Nabbing him in the sixth round is highway robbery.

Now that they double dipped at DL, I'm okay with drafting a late round QB.

His WR that went 2nd overall bailed him out on many passes from the few plays I’ve seen from him.

Okay, cool. Seems as if they are trying to draft high quality people as well.

Injury to his foot must be a bigger deal than expected maybe?

    ?!

Giving up on Fautanu already?! I agree as an insurance policy if Fautanu gets hurt but I definitely wouldn't count out Troy just yet. Way too talented, gifted and technically sound to give up on. If anything, I'd like him as a Guard.

He talked to the media before the draft, he told them they were confident Rodgers would sign with hem.

Williams in the 6th would be fantastic.

Not a sexy draft, but it’s an effective one

I still think they are going to take Will Howard. I honestly didn’t think he would still be on the board but this QB class has been wildly unpredictable so far.

Yes but had nothing to do with the post you quoted lol but I’m quite ok.

Steelers don’t seem to be in for a QB this draft, I don’t agree with the strategy but still a couple rounds to go. Howard and McCord still available.

Denzel Burke just went to the Cardinals he's a really good CB to go this late.

I thought we’d take Howard in the 5th so I’m fine with him at any pick going forward

No I’m giving up in Broderick Jones being the LT so I’m thinking Fautanu will be the LT. I’m envisioning one of them becoming the LG to replace Seamolu. So I’m all for a huge RT of the future

On the Sanders subject that won’t fade away for a while, here’s an article that misses the point IMO. The writer talks about how Shedeur and Dad handled the pre draft process and said that the teams sent a message about it. But the writer misses the real reason. It’s not that the teams are sending a message of displeasure in some sort of vindictive response, it’s the teams saying “we don’t trust you going forward based on how you’ve behaved to date.” Teams aren’t going to pass on the talent because a prospect and his family behave arrogantly and it pisses the team’s execs off. They want to win. However, if the player evaluation says that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze, they will pass. I think that’s what’s happened. The player just wasn’t viewed as being good enough for the risk.

I wouldn't give up on Broderick either. That said, I do agree that 2025 is put up or shut up time for Broderick. Drafting Cameron Williams for that purpose will also push Broderick.

Let’s be honest, Broderick Jones might wash out and Fautanu might be our LT

Really like what they’re doing here, and in saying that I really like the Khan/Weidl team. It’s obvious they’re taking BPA for need and not reaching. Every single pick we’ve taken, thus far, involves the Run.
I really think Khan is gearing up for 26 in Da Burgh. Get all the, what many think boring, trench work done this year so they can do the flashy stuff for the home crowd in 26. Fairly obvious to me. Get ready for the Big Show and flashy picks next year from us!

I will let 2025 decide that. Broderick was, and still is, my favorite pick of the Omar Khan era. I haven't given up on him. Neither has the team.

That said, it is put up or shut up time for him. No excuses.
