Luther Burden3 is still there for the Titans.

So I'm curious, why not take Ewers? He is actually smooth. And still has an arm. It's it sanders arm with accuracy no. But within 60 yards, ewers can release faster and more smooth.

I like milroe as well. But ewers with that speed and smooth is an edge.

    True.

That said, EDGE and IDL are plentiful in this draft. I don't think Howie isn't going to have nearly as much trouble acquiring new talent. T.J. Sanders would definitely be a player I'd want if I were an Eagles fan. He'd fit right in.

A massive steal if I might add no less.

He has been my number one WR. I stand by that.

I believe he is a 3-4. And honestly I think the potential is there for him to be a lot more than just a run stopper.

But even if he's a run stopper only, that's a great piece for us.

They lost Milton Williams from the DL but still have Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis with Ojomo and Baun waiting in the wings. They are very deep.

Don't be shocked if Pickens is traded to Cowgirls for 44. Then WR or QB there. GB is out at 54 now. Looking like Pickens will be staying, and I'm fine with that.

This is true, he did lead college DT’s in interior pass pressure. A tad bit worried about the medical rumors, but overall a solid pick. The DL of the future looks better even if it’s kinda a lateral move for the outlook of 2025. Now if we can find a way to land Howard I’d be happy. Need a rb as well. Lots of ways the next couple rounds can go

Are you drunk? You're acting like he was the starter. We literally drafted a first round on Pickett. We took mitch on free agency.

So yeah, that is actually impressive for 2023 he won all his games he was thrown into.

Mason showed a lot of people he was better than Pickett.

I wonder if Howard or Milroe will be our pick in the 3rd. Should be interesting.

Maybe. Though, we’d be in a bad spot at WR if we do. Unless the plan is to trade a pick in 2026 for a different WR, then I don’t know how you trade Pickens.

I agree with your las statement. I think he stays too, and I am happy about it

    My bad man!!!

I get this is super late but I still do have the names of the colleges.

    Ohio State

    Alabama

    Georgia

    Clemson

*Michigan* Neither Tomlin nor Khan were there but did have Pro Day Dinners with some prospects

    Texas

    Notre Dame

Some of these are usual suspects. Some of them are newer.

I still stick by my comp in Leonard Williams.

That said, wouldn't be a bad thing if Harmon turned out to be a better Tuitt; a borderline HOF player.

So much for getting a quarterback I know we needed a DL but we lost out on Jackson Dart

Might I opine a minute? Well I'm going to anyway. I was not thilled with the pick but it I am glad it was not Sanders. That would have been a real reach just like Pickett. and so as I bring this 2025 1st round draft to a close. I say Meh! Tank you and goo d night.

Disappointing night for Shedeur is an understatement. It's a disaster. You know those first rounds get the starting contract, 4-5 years guaranteed first team play time. After that, it's iffy. High hopes down the drain.

Honestly, Harmon seems like a young Cam the way he gets up field … Hard to say Tuitt for me, Tuitt was so freakishly athletic for a big man.

No what showed was a different offensive play calling scheme, right up to when they got pummeled in the playoffs.

Pickett showed improvement too in those 1 1/2 games after the firing.

Seems like they were trying to get the receivers the ball crossing or in motion, vice trying those comeback routes they were relying on for so long.

Trade up to get Will Howard? You jest. He's at best a 4th or 5th round pick. Trade back in the 3rd, add another 4th and draft him in 5th maybe. IF you're trading into round 2, there will be a few MUCH better QB choices out there.

From the 49ers desk at the combine.

Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon - Injury concerns came up... today. Wasn’t great against the run and has a concerning missed tackle rate. Has dealt with weight issues.

Well, your not wrong, but look what has fallen into OUR laps since Kahn and Weidle took charge. Haven't almost all of Kahn's picks felt the same way.

No more Colbert What the hell is he thinking picks. I have been thrilled with all of last years picks, and even 2023's. and low and behold, who made it to 21 today? prototypical 34 DT that was valued mid 1st by real pros's of the draft media, that we have longed for, for YEARS, when we have needed it the most.

The last two years have been the most fun in years! I've kept saying YES after almost every one of the picks. With a great start this year. Finally we have changed from , well it's a deep position we can wait , to taking the cream of the top of the position, round by round!

That is how you build a SB team. Few admit just how many holes we had, and still have, while Blue chip players have gotten old without building around them properly, and evaluating draft talent properly. That HAS CHANGED with Weidle and Kahn, but the holes are deep, but we are crawling out. No I think they have messed up BIG time this off season, sitting on 68 mil in cap space, but MY feeling is Kahn was held back By AR and MT going after a Vet QB instead of grabbing a couple of the good younger FA CB"S, better offer to Fields, ect, ect.

Only fault I have with Kahn, but he is to experienced, and smart to under value the FA market like what happened. Someone pulled back on the reigns on Kahn in FA this year. Zero reason to head into 2026 with close to 100 mil in cap space. yes Watt will get his, and we ALL hope Pickens will FINALLY GET IT, put it together, so we can pay him.

They are a little hypocritical trading a 2nd for DK, and then Giving him a contract breaking outdated contract ways, and then not going after the top 3 FA CBS's, DT and guaranteed money to Fields. To me That's just not Kahn, an Weidle.

LOVE Harmon at 21, and passing on Sanders, Dart MAYBE I could be OK with, but lets see how the rest of the draft breaks for us. The die is cast now after passing on FA. The draft is our Life line now. Puzzled with FA, but we are OK. QB will sort itself out or not and we finally get to pick higher for once.

OH and Stains Brains have changed! WOW Graham, Extra 2026 1st, !st and 2nd pick of the second round!!! MAN the return for teams trading down have blown the doors off the trade charts, I don't care which ones are used! I LOVE Harmon, but I sure hope we didn't turn any similar deals down! That would be a Whoops A Daisy!!!
