For what it’s worth apparently they flew to Michigan the day before the pro day to meet with players. Then flew back to Pittsburgh for meeting with Mr darkness retreat

Teryl Austin was at their pro day, and Tomlin/Khan reportedly had dinner with Michigan players the night before.

The holdout will be very likely if he don't have a contract and we all know that the WRs who don't have training camp like Aiyuk and Lamb last year always struggle in the first 1-2 month of the season. The exception are very rare

Might as well start barffing if he's available at 21.

    Drink a European beer

It’s not based on 5 o’clock where you are drinking it but rather where it is brewed

At least that is the theory I go with

AQL'S data says the whole house has to be at the Pro-day in order for player x to be considered a possible 1st round pick. Tomlin being there before might qualify but then again they might break from tradition and take someone outside the practice. I'm not holding my breathe on that possibility.

That definitely seemed true for the Colbert era.i wouldn’t bet the farm on that trend unti Kahn has a few more drafts under his belt. Kahn and weidlseem to have an affinity for RAS when it comes to draft prospects. I think it’s 9/14 draft picks have had ras above 9.2

This is an interesting draft, there was chat on the radio today and one guy felt DL position could get a surge of picks after the 10-12 range. If the steelers guy(s) are gone do they seek to drop back, or pick some guy who may have dropped.

The talk on 93.7 the Fan today was the Steelers trying to trade up a couple of spots to take Hampton. Denver got wind of that and are desperately trying to move up even further because they are all in on Hampton. It could all be a pre-draft smoke screen.

Ugh… I hope we don’t take a RB in the 1st, never mind trading up for one.

You can't only just consider players 1-21. We already used our 2nd round pick. We don't pick again until 83. Prospects ranked anywhere in the top50 are possible. If there's one you really want, you better get him at 21.

I want us to get O or D line, but my final guess, now that it is draft day, is RB (assuming Khan does nothing in trade).
