One thing i noticed a lot on the defense yesterday was the ends (especially watt) were being lazy taking their time getting set. Go back and watch and you will see Watt constantly having a Knee down waiting to get in his stance ready to go and the Dallas snaps the ball. AS a pass rusher your jump on the snap is pretty important. i hope they were just tired from the road games. Cause i sure hope they were not being lazy taking dallas for granted.

    Great: 8-0

Good: Juju, Fitzpatrick, Highsmith, Tuitt, Watt, Heyward, second half Ben, Berry, Williams, Claypool.

    Bad: Dupree, AV, Pouncey, Edmonds

    Ugly: Playcalling on both sides.

Like said they better get the kinks worked out playing with house money. The bungles are rested and would like nothing more then to show us the loss column. And they have a legit QB.

Alex Highsmith is showing much promise in his limited snaps and got his 1st sack. The transition should be seemless next season.

    Hello Everyone.

I am not saying anything here that most responding are probably saying. Just a bit more extension.

    The Good:

A win. Plain and simple. We got the win and that is the bottom line. It makes me no difference how we got to the end we just did with our arms held up high.

Ben seemed to have dodged a bullet thankfully.

We have so many weapons on the Offense that it is seriously awesome. I have been saying this since the draft. Too many “ballers” for any team to cover them all. The Defense is coming up with big plays when need them.

Different people take turns helping out. This week James Washington chipped in. He has been quiet for a bit now.

    The Bad:

The potential Ben injury. I have not seen any updates today about it but it would seem he is okay. Given that, as I have been stating all off-season, no Ben then look for a rerun of last season’s movie. No Ben would be too difficult to overcome IMO.

Again, as I have stated time and time here regarding this issue, the Front Office has poorly prepared for it. Unacceptable. How many folks here were in panic-mode when Ben went down yesterday? How many here basically saw last season’s movie fast-forward in their minds? Be honest with yourselves folks. Not a pretty thought.

    The ugly.

The run-defense is playing unacceptable since Alualu went down and it is clear as day and night. Go get Dontari Poe or Marcel Dareus Steelers’ Brass. Now!

We need a RB that can finish the game out. I like what Conner brings to the table for certain situations. This is not one of them or the play-calling is atrocious in those situations. I think it is both. Fix one or the other. Better yet, fix both. When we are attempting to close games out, the other team should never get the ball back. Again, unacceptable.

You do realize the steeers had no way to truly prepare for the cowboys right? They’ve got nothing on that qb? All they can do is guess at what they’ll try to do. As it turns out that guy is very accurate and makes quick decisions. Solid signing by the cowboys.

One of the bads for me...the almost entire running 1/3 of the field into the end zone and celebrating like fools over an interception, all this while losing. Celebrate within reason, that was not within reason. Just do your freaking job.
