I had no problem going on fourth down, but why a run in this situation at the 4-5 yard line?

On the previous short yardage play, they were not sneaking Rodgers. Are they treating him like Tua? Now I'm a little concerned about out capability to sneak it for a yard.

Hard disagree here. FG puts the game out of reach.

If your reasoning is, if we miss they are pinned deep and the defense has been balling. Well same logic applies for taking the FG except you have a comfortable lead now and still turning to your defense to defend a long field.

    Made no sense, unnecessary risk.

Have a huge problem with them going for it there. You kick the points and put it out of range. Coaches coach, players play. Wilson doesn’t make that tackle then….

Glad we got the W. Go Steelers!

If you score the TD and the game is officially over..many head coach would make this decision like Ben Johnson last week also up 24-14...the play call was poor

I personally thought going was the right decision in that situation. I didn’t love the play call. I really, really didn’t like the low probability pass play on 2nd and goal to allow the Vikes to keep a timeout in their pocket.

I also felt like the right call on the last 3rd and 1 was to repeat the Washington tush push. As long as the NFL is allowing that, we should find a way to exploit the rule and do so repeatedly.

What good is a 6'7" 300 lb te if you don't call his number in these situations

Yeah but they didnt go up by 14 and thats the problem. FG would have put it out of reach with the time left on the clock. He let his Qb decide for him, it’s stupid.

With four or five yards to go, spread em out and throw it to one of the 4 people who are 6’4” or better

It was the good decision vs SF since his kicker was bad

They would been up only 27-14 and the vikings would have better field position

It didn’t need to be that close. Kick the frickin FG but Tomlin can’t coach so he lets his QB do the decisions.

They beat the rams that year because of their aggression...you play to win the game

It doesn’t freaking matter what they did against the rams earlier in the year. That aggression cost them that game.

Playing to win the game would have been not punting it away at the end when it was fourth and a foot.

They maybe would not play the nfc title game without their aggression

And again their kicker was one of the worst in the league

I know you’re obtuse, but this is beyond asinine. Their supposed worst kicker in the league was perfect for them that year.
