it’s funny but the Vegas lines are more often than not accurate as the amount of resources that put them together so that the house doesn’t lose is immense.

I'm not saying they are 100% correct all the time. However, those casino's aren't billion dollar industries without being right most of the time. The amount of data, experts, and other resources dedicated to coming up with those lines are mind blowing. If I had to choose between a vegas line and a local talking head I'm taking the Vegas line every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

One correction to the line. Early in the summer it was 6.5 wins, during training camp it was changed to 7.5 wins, the day before opening day it was 8.5 wins.

It's obvious the Steelers were predicted to win between 7 and 9 games, again, they are performing as expected by experts and data.

Well I just won 3 years in a row on the over for the Steelers, and not finish last in the division. I guess Vegas really needs to look into that one

 

I typically take the over on the win total. They are usually in the ballpark.
