Yet another beer to keep an eye out for, Dogfish Head's Aprihop. Unfortunately you have to wait until late spring/early summer. It's lite, refreshing, and delicious.

That's funny, TE. My wife was over my shoulder the other night when I was posting a pic, and read over this thread. Afterwords, she said 'that thread makes you look like a souse'. I said 'Does it?' as I slowly sipped my pint of stout. :lolol:

    Love that line. :D

    :lolol:
I'll have to make a point to check it out come spring. What are some Fall/Winter releases to look out for?

I observed the holiday earlier this week, and on certain days last week. Just kidding, I was not aware there was an official beer drinking day. Cheers.

I don't think my bottle of Bitches Brew will survive this weekend.

I had the Octoberfest last night. That's a good beer right there. I picked up one of those Fall Harvest 12 packs and it had two in it. :drinks:

I think they said that have 300-400 beers. I would hate to be the one in charge of updating their menu!

I tried a Rogue XS Russian Imperial Stout last night. It's the first brew I've tried in a long while that I can say with a certainty that I truly disliked. It was hard to drink. I can't recommend it.

    Noted.

I've liked a few of the Rogue offerings, but haven't loved any of them.

On another note one of my fall favorites Lagunitas' Brown Shugga hit the shelves this week.

I've never heard of that one. Is it a Brown Ale?

Thanx for the pic and description of the "Bitches Brew"... If I would have checked this thread, before I went to Giant Eagle, this afternoon, I would have tried that one.
Was trying to find one of those Oatmeal, Coffee, Chocolate, type Stouts....Closest thing they had was sumkinda "Milk Stout" for about 11 bux for a 6 pak...(It was NOT the "Imperial" brand, that I wanna try)...
Figured if all else failed, I would get some of the Sam Adams Ocktoberfest, since I tried it at dinner recentley, and liked it...
They were completely sold out of it...
I also found something that was aged in old oak whiskey barrels, which I have been wanting to try, but, at 12 bux for a 4 pak, was a bit cost- prohibitive...
So... After debating between Newcastle Brown Ale, Or Honey Brown,(Which I just enjoyed a 6 pak of,last night, because I am getting really tired of drinking cheap, watered down beers, because they are affordable)... I settled on the ever-affordable, Michelob Amber Bock....
They did have Beck`s Dark, And St. Pauli Girl Dark... But, since the Michelob was 3 bucks cheaper per 12 pack...
I settled... Helluva lot better than the Bush Light I`ve gotten used to, but I really wanna try those "Imperial" stouts.
Guess I will have to go to the "fancy" beer store, in my neighborhood...
LOL...(Just thought Towel might get a kick outta the fact, that I am "slumming" with his old, cheap, favorite tonight;) )
    GO STEELERS...

$12 for a 4-pack ain't bad. Think about the garbage you would get for $3 including tip at a bar.

I've seen it listed as both a barley wine and an American strong ale. It's tasty no matter what name they give.

Grabbed a new one yesterday for the game Port Brewing Company's Santa's Little Helper. It's a bourbon barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout and it's so much better than our Steelers are playing.
