I'd be shocked if it wasn't available where you live. It's everywhere. Here's what the Pumpking looks like, it might not be locally available for a little while, though.

Is that what you are enjoying right now? ;) I'll have to take a look for it, pumpkin beer sounds like something that should be awesome but I wasn't too thrilled with the one I had, so I'll have to give this one a try.

    Thanks

My pleasure. Dogfish Head makes a pretty good pumpkin ale as well, but ST's is the best.

Nah, that was a pic I posted last fall. I didn't even know it was already back on shelves.

Yep, it's here, found it with Strummers link, couple distributors nearby carry it, I'll pick some up and give a report. :drinks:

Glad it worked out for you, hopefully you enjoy it. Try to keep in mind that some of these craft beers have a high ABV and can pack quite a punch.

Seasonal beers are coming out waaaaaay too early. All of the breweries are trying to beat each other to market.

Octoberfests will be out in early September. Just doesn't seem right.

I'll keep that in mind! I'm sure I'll feel it. When I was drinking regularly, I could have a lot, I'm tall and over 200lbs but I notice now that when I have beer, I feel it much quicker since I barely touch it anymore.

I've been drinking Six Point and 21st Amendment beers quite a bit lately. They both make some tasty stuff.

Bengali Tiger and Resin are my favorite Six Points and Brew Free or Die and Back in Black are my favorite 21st Amendments,

I'm going to have to have another sample, because the first batch I got last week didn't taste like the Pumpking I grew to love last year...

Thats damn good, just got some this afternoon :drinks:

They also had a selection of beer on tap and let you try samples which I thought was spectacularly cool, I think someone mentioned they do that in this thread. I picked up a pint of Slyfox Grisette, a Belgium beer which I thought was very tasty.

Had Pumking for the first time last night. The way people talk about it I thought it was going to be better than it was. I think DFH's is better.

Went to the Twin Lakes (Greenville, Delaware) tasting room today and had a dozen or so free 4 ounce pours of their just-tapped Oktoberfest... And left with a growler of it.

Cheers to me on Saturday while I'm working on my car. :herewego:

If you like that try Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

I tried a new one yesterday. It wasn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but it was outstanding. 50 50 Brewing's Eclipse Stout aged in Evan Williams barrels.

I picked up a few new beers and tried a sampled a few beers at brewery during my extended stay in PA.

Victory Brewing's Dirtwolf- an outstanding double ipa
Ithaca Brewing's Flower Power- yet another outstanding ipa
Weyerbacher Insanity- Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine

There's a little pizza place outside of Carlisle/Harrisburg called Al's or Big Al's. They've got a brewery on site with a 40-60 tap selection for in house consumption and growler fills. The brewery's name is Pizza Boy. Sadly I can't remember names, but good beer nonetheless.
