The usual terrible refereeing in the Bungles games already.

We need to be no worse than 11–5 otherwise we're not making the playoffs remember this post

Texans and Chiefs much easier schedules and if we lose to Seattle next week and if we split with Denver and Indianapolis that will not be good enough

Alright I figured I'd keep the same thread for last week for today. Teams to root for to lose today are the Texans to lose to the Saints, the Jets to lose to Miami, and Oakland loss to Tennessee would be nice too. And the big game today is the Bills at the Chiefs. A win by one team makes them 6-5 and a loss by one team makes them 5-6. So a win today in Seattle can really set the Steelers up well at 7-4 to get in the playoffs.

I was thinking that as well but KC has the tiebreaker over us and if the Bills win would that change things as far as a 3-4 way tie? The thing is both have an easy out the rest of the way so do we root for KC cause if the Bills win and run it out(Hou, Philly, Wash, Dal, NYJ) and we slip both would make it and leave us out. Just a thought I am not sure how tiebreakers work for more then 2 teams.

Is there such a thing as an easy schedule anymore? So many teams are lousy one week and really good the next. Either league parity or league mediocrity.

Remember this post? Heck I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. If you are correct, I expect you might be kind enough to remind us.

Nothing going the Steelers way so far today. A loss in this game today and the Steelers are going to slip out of that 5th spot and end up being 7th or 8th.

Texans win and the Jets are about to win so a loss today and the Steelers will be behind both of those teams and the winner of the Bills Chiefs game. Miami and Oakland are about to lose so they will both be 4-7 and pretty much done. The Steelers conference record really kills them on days like this when all of these teams that are a game or so behind you have better conference records.

Terrible call by the Refs, terrible no challenge by Rex Ryan and his staff. Having said that, I blame it on this stupid catch rule. No one knows, not even the refs, what a catch is anymore.

Yeah - I think if the Steelers drop the game today they drop from 5th to 9th because of their conference record. Ouch. Beginning to look like Steelers are going to have to go 10-6 to get in. Also I had hopes that the Bills and Jets would have likely losses penciled in against the Cowboys because Romo was back, but now with him injured I would say both of them will be favored to win those games.

Chiefs are gonna pass us by season's end. They have nobody left on their schedule worth a damn.

I could be wrong but if they can hold on today and beat Cleveland and Baltimore, it could be enough. Someone will slip up I think.

I refuse to believe that the Jets with Fitzpatrick and the Texans with TJ Yates who they just picked up off the street are going to continue to win and finish ahead of the Steelers. The Chiefs might finish ahead of us but I find it hard to believe that teams like the Bills,Jets, and Texans will finish ahead of the Steelers. Their QB play compared to Ben won't hold up these last 5 games.

I look for the Steelers to get a lot of help this coming Sunday unlike yesterday when they got virtually no help. I think Bills beat Houston, I think the Giants beat the Jets, and I think Raiders will upset the Chiefs in Oakland. I don't see the Chiefs winning 3 out of 4 weeks out West. If all this happens and even if the Texans beat the Bills the Steelers with a win over the Colts will take over that 5th spot once again in the AFC. So a huge week once again coming up with a lot of big games to keep an eye on during the day before our game with the Colts on Sunday night.
