I was thinking Bettis & fast Willie. Do we draft a pounder or " Tarik Cohen" type?

It’s crazy how fast this team went from being a very good to great team. Now we’re the laughing stock of the league. I mean we lost Bell, most likely AB, and Ben in a year maybe two. That’s the 3 B’s and all 3 are about to be gone. Disappointing.

Agreed. He’s let this go on for years now and it’s all coming to a head now. Tomlin cannot be the one who becomes the disciplinarian. He’s been one of them for to long now. Nobody will listen to him. I’m on the fence on whether he should be let go. I do understand if they do let him go though.

I thought we should of never paid him when they were talking about paying him. I thought Bell should of been paid over AB. We have Juju and Bell is a hell of a receiver and of course running back.

    I agree.
It's a matter of 'when', not 'if' it will happen.

I get that he was fired. Has nothing to do with a good coach that needed a change of venue. The team recognized it and took the steps needed to make that happen. When a player like AB starts acting like this then there's an issue. Bell same thing. As I said. Tomlin may be a good coach but in this case it's time for him to move on.

Sometimes its not always about winning and losing ,this team has lost its identity under this man ..Like I said ,too many horses off and running because he left the damn barn door open.

Tomlin has a major hand in the draft process as well. So he doesn't get a excuse for that. How big ? I'm not sure but in a Mark Madden article I read last week. He mentioned that Tomlin needs to give the "final say" back to Colbert. So unless Madden is lying or misinformed which is highly doubtful in both cases Tomlin is responsible for the bad picks as well and also the good. I don't know how long he has held this supposed right but I do know our DB picks have been horrible and he's a former DB coach. So that's scary.

We can definitely use a Tarik Cohen. I wanted us to draft Tarik Cohen. It would be another weapon in our arsenal. I would like a guy that is capable in the return game as well. I know it's not a popular opinion sure but although he is solid and can field the ball very well( most of the time) Switzer is solid but unspectacular at the same time. I know he's the least of our worries but Rogers was already a better option as a slot receiver as soon as he got back. I think having a back like Cohen can eliminate the need for Switzer and the RB takes Ridleys spot.adding another WR in the draft to replace DHB at the same time creates a roster spot.
Conner,Samuels and a shifty RB/return man for our RBs and a rehabbed AB:smiley1:, JUJU,Washington,Rogers and a mid to late WR pick or one of the young PS/futures guys that are hanging around for hopefully a good reason.

At what point does Kevin Colbert start getting talked about? I highly doubt the draft picks are Mike Tomlin's doing and lets face it, the recent top picks outside of Watt have been booty booty buttcheeks. I know Art II has ultimate say, but most teams the GM would be talked about more in a dumpster fire of team that is now the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Players in the league act up all the time. A team should not fire a coach for a player that's disgruntled. There appear to be a lot of players on the team that enjoy playing for Tomlin. Bell's situation was about money. The financials of the team are above Tomlin's pay grade.

When the Steelers start losing consistently then it will be time to for Tomlin and the team to part ways.

When the team fails in the draft it's about the collective group in the organization. Scouts, coaches, GM, and ultimately owner ship.

I am hoping the falling apart is behind us and we move forward and build to next year, I hope the AB thing gets cleared up soon.
