I'm here at camp, can anyone answer why Ta'amu is wearing a white jersey and listed on the roster as an OT? Is this some kind of purgatory?

I think you're looking at the new (old) guy we just signed today..D'Anthony Batiste...Ta amu is still onthe PUP list...

Could be, maybe the roster is just a misprint

Ta'amu did get change his number to 74... because they gave Jarvis Jones his old one ..95...there is also Chris Hubbard OT wearing 74 and that is also what Batiste wore last year..so I made the assumption...

I saw someone mention the likely typo the other day- OL instead of DL. Batiste is supposed to be wearing 64.

    Bell looks good
John Parker Wilson has the strongest arm in camp
    THe linebacker Baxter looks good
    Adrian Robinson is looking good
    Mcfadden is looking good
Jarvis Jones has looked both good and bad. If I remember correctly the bad statements were "he looks lost at times" and "failed to get off the line".
    Worilds looks good
    Wheaton looks very good
Brown has hands like a pillow
Embernate had moved up the depth chart
    Thomas looks good
I'm guessing either Whimper or Long are struggling at tackle since they just signed that Batiste guy.
Late linebacker pick Williams(?) has been good with his defensive calls, but can over pursue. Pretty typical of a guy hustling to make a team.
Joe Madsen got abused by Fangupo- afterwards Tomlin was heard yelling "Joe have some respect for yourself"
Dunn got an ass chewing for downing a punt inside the 5
Foster has looked very good pulling
Mike Adams Pancaked Hood and swallowed up Woodley a couple times
That little UFA running back nicknamed Moody has been hustling and is the first person to step up in backs on backers

Those are all the little blurbs I can remember off the top of my head.

"Brian Arnfelt, the undrafted rookie DE from Northwestern, extended his arms off the snap as if he were Aaron Smith or something and stood Mike Adams straight up and drove him back. The man next to Arnfelt, Adrian Robinson, was free to blow into the backfield and take down the back for a 5-yard loss."

Just saw this little nugget about Landry Jones and JPW- "Jones, the fourth-round pick, is being outplayed by fourth-year free agent John Parker Wilson, who’s generally considered the fourth-team QB."

Lamaar Woodley on the O-line “That offensive line, they’ve got a tight group,” Woodley said. “Man, I think they’re going to be great.”

“Marshall McFadden is somebody to watch. Looks like James Harrison, hits like Harrison, nasty like Harrison.”

they said Wilson should look better than jones at this point, because he's been through 3 plus this his 4th training camps.

Paulson has been making some great catches.

    will Johnson looking good.

    keisel down on weight.

    redman looking good.

beachum looking like it will be hard to get him to the bench so far. playing C and both T spots and TE on goal line situations.

still not sure when heath will be back and they are not going to rush him. he may be the 3rd TE into a game to start.

adams having trouble with hand placement.

    troy looking fast and healthy.

ike and gay are the starters at this point.

brown responding to the extra reps he's getting and is the nickel cb at this point.

batiste was ranked 43 of the 43 tackles that were free agents. he has some starts on both sides in the NFL though.

MT made it mandatory for all o-linemen to wear knee braces.

    that's all I got.

    Thanks for the updates, guys.

You'd think that someone up there could at least put out a simple daily summary of touchdowns and turnovers ... who scored em, who made em, etc

    I thought Paulson looked good.
Fangupo is working hard, got into a fight with Pouncey.
Woodley ran well, reported calf injury must be minor.
Moye working hard, but he has too considering the depth chart.
Byron Batch was stuffed on the goalline drill.
LaRod Stephens-Howling took a massive hit on a play action.
I realize Burress is taller than all the other wide receivers, but he doesn't look like 232 pounds as is listed on the Roster. Cotchery, on the otherhand, appeared to me to look like he had more weight on him, though he is listed at 200 pounds, somewhere in the middle compared to the others on the roster.
Mike Golic Jr. looks big, seemed to hold his own on the one-on-one drills.
Brian Moorman consistently punted the ball further than Drew Butler.
I was watching a bit on the NFLN in the morning with sound clips from Bill Parcells. The trainer told him that Matt Barr might not be able to play because he was feeling under the weather. Parcells responded that "he just needs to kick, not to play." Having said that, I saw Suisham on the field, but I never saw him kick the ball.
Gilbert was lined up at RT and Adams at LT, are their positions still to be decided?
Gradkowski seems to have some Charlie Batch like mannerisms moving with the ball.
Pouncey was 1-2 catching punts :)
