So our drip is not their drip,as in "you are such a drip?" Yes times and meanings certainly do change, one time my brother called my dad a crude name when dad told him to get a haircut, then bro told dad the generation gap was in full affect (or some such nonsense). Dad gave him a light cuff on the back of the head and other bro said, "you can have him arrested for that." Dad replied, "Well I might as well go to jail for a twofer."

    We got the message, LMAO.

I was hearing this new word being used by the adolescents over the holidays. I liked it.

Sup Mojave. Tomlin is sus to win another playoff game without Ben. Plausible imo.

It's the future i believe. The young'uns won't adapt groovy or cool beans in their repertoire.

Apparently, "drip" is the new term for your "funky fresh" attire. Something like, "JuJu's drip is lit."

Why? Why in the holy hell?

I can almost understand it in my boomer way, at my age I drip on my fresh attire and it gets real funky, then I really get lit.

Hell, I just learned recently that grooming is not just trimming a beard anymore. I want to live long enough to see, Groovy, Far Out, Dig It, and Bummer come around again.

I know I'll never see my mother's generation of names come back. Louise, Evelyn, etc. Although I do dig the new names these youngsters are coming up with for their children. They are both groovy and far out.

I believe Far Out is still commonly used in Australia. Well, by commonly used I mean I heard one person say it recently

In my humble opinion, "Tommy" is The Who's best album. You are correct, from a line in "We're not gonna take it."

The good old days. My brother once implied, in a humorous way, that if my dad smacked him upside the head, he's have him arrested for child abuse. My dad just said you can do as you please, up to an including finding a new place to live. He was always trying to one up the old man. It never ended well for my brother, lol.

Agreed! Seems stupid now but, when I was (much) younger, I saw the movie 18 times. It doesn't hold up well.
