Hard to believe Walker is the first RB since Terrell Davis to win Super Bowl MVP.

Niners were destroyed by injuries. Had they still had warner and bosa, likely win the #1 seed and go all the way. ****ty luck.

Looks like the NFL changed it to an Int, so Maye's ended with 6 sacks and 2 ints. He did not set the Superbowl record for most sack at 7.

Agreed. That said, Kenneth Walker III was secretly a massive reason for the Seahawks Offensive Success. JSN had a phenomenal year no doubt and Sam Darnold finally has a place that can trust him. Kenneth Walker though stirs that drink for that Offense.

Without him?! Team still has the weapons to beat many teams but it will not be as doable.

And all is right with the (football) world.

I was accused of just being a NE hater today. Guilty. Yes I am.

NE was bad and made the SB with one of the worst playoff runs on offense in NFL history.

I think Walker is underrated to a degree, but "stirs the drink for the offense?" No.

Walker was finally able to play the full slate of games, and had a rushing line of 221/1027/5 while his receiving was 31/280/0.

JSN turned in 119/1793/10 off of 163 targets.

Walker may not have the statistic output that JSN does. However, just about every Kubiak Offense needs a great rushing attack to compliment their heavy Play Action usage. Kenneth Walker's health, as you stated, made a massive difference in that regard.

Thanks to Walker's abilities in the Wide Zone Blocking Scheme along with Seattle's success in Play Action, the entire Offense was able to flourish. Granted, even before the draft, I said that JSN had a strong chance to outplay his draft slot and that Seattle adding him in was a superb idea.

That all said, the Klint Kubiak Offense literally runs through its capabilities to deploy the Wide Zone Blocking Scheme both proficiently and consistently. Grey Zabel, Charles Cross, Anthony Bradford and Abraham Lucas are all rock solid Offensive Linemen in their own right. That by itself is only one half of the equation. To make Klint's Offense truly click, he needed a Running Back who possessed both short area explosiveness, superb agility and homerun speed. Kenneth Walker III fitted that bill to the T.

Long story short?! JSN is the playmaker on Offense but Kenneth Walker III is the engine. Him earning Super Bowl MVP should surprise no one.

I might not call that a great game. For most NFL fans I'd think it was a bore.

Not sure I agree about Walker's blocking abilities. From the seahawks games I saw he was a liability in pass pro.
