Thinking about the start of this season with all the drama and bullS**t again to start the season and lose focus, I thought about this: If we lose to the Browns today and the consensus opinion is we lost because Bell didn't play, what does that really tell us about this team? It tells me that other stars didn't step up and/or Tomlin can't get a team fired up anymore, hence another disappointing season. I wish I didn't have to look at our moronic special teams coach on the sidelines with 500 pieces of gum in his mouth or our genius defensive coordinator with that Joker grin on his face. Yes the Browns will be better this year but shouldn't be in our class yet.

That would be narrow minded but their will be some that think that. This game today, if they play, will be decided by the turnover battle due to the elements.

Like a deer in the headlights

I to am hoping that the DirecTV doesn't go out, but major rain and cloud cover might spoil the party.

I`m concerned if there is record rainfall and the field is a mud hole. We are not your grandpa`s Steelers that pounded the ball and played defense.

We are a passing offense with questionable run defense. Seems to be trouble unless the field is just good enough where receivers can still run their routes. If they can, then it can actually be an advantage passing as defenders fall down, slip making cuts to keep up with the receiver.

A monsoon that shuts down the passing game seems like a disaster for us at face value.

Like most of our games, this will come down to how well Big Ben plays.

If memory serves Big Ben's first game was against Miami and had to be moved from a 1:00 start to a night time start due to a Hurricane.

As if Bell would make a difference today, after being inactive for 8 months, no OTAs, no camp and a couple days practice it's very unlikely he would tear it up today based on his first game start last year after holding out, if he was playing today he would look like s##t the same as he did in game one last year against cleve, 32 yards rushing and 15 yards catching, 3.2 average rush and a 5 yard average on 3 receptions, so win lose or draw Bell is a non factor starting or sitting out..........

My eyes is all on connor. He better ballout or else everyone looks like fools. I've seen several teams try to just plug in a guy to replace a great back that your system was catered too. Dallas went 0-2 with arguably the greatest oline and Jerry Hurried up and signed emmitt when he held out that yr. Last yr Dallas run game was complete trash without Zeke. Cards run game sucked with ap without david johnson. We will see what happens but leveon is a special talent that is hard to replace it's why pitt is playing so hard ball with him.

I just want a win...I dont care if it's by 1 point, we have 100 yards total offense, 5 turnovers, no sacks( possible ) or anything else...Just a win

We also have Jalen and Steven. They will all be needed to take up slack. This is what football teams do.

I would like to see the Steelers win also but not by more than 6 points. I have the Browns and 6.5 points for $1,000.00
