well this just shows that we are different armchair coaches. Every year my goal would be to go to the Super Bowl and if my starting qb isn’t getting the job done then he can take a seat on the bench and I’ll take a chance with my backups (at least they aren’t afraid to ball out) it will also send Kenny a message saying I better get my $hit together or I will be benched.

Not just canada, I think it is up to 58 games. So
That would include coach Randy and God forbid Ben Roethlisberger.

Yes sir well said. Hopefully either way they need to find out.

Canadas elementary calls hopefully will get NFL caliber with Sullivan making them. The scheme is probably not going to change but putting players in and using players better on certain downs could be a positive. Canada was over his head.

Not an excuse for Pickett. They have to take the handcuffs off more and the offensive line has to improve in the pass blocking area.

Your think Mitch or Mason can get you to a SB? LMAO.

Not saying Kenny can, either. But at least the book is still out on him whereas it's been written on Mason and Mitch. Neither should even be in the league at this point.

If they still have Kenny handing it off to Najee in the backfield from the gun, I may turn it off.

No if only because its a new beginning. It would be like benching him after two career starts. He'll need at least 3 games with new OC/PC setup.

No, I don't think they can, but if it's obvious that Kenny isn't getting the job done what's the harm in trying something different? Like I said, maybe a benching could be a wake up call to Kenny.

Trust me, I want Kenny to succeed, I want the Kenny that we seen in Pre Season. I do not like MT or MR. But KFP has been absolutely HORRIBLE this season and he keeps getting worse and worse. At first I was one that thought it was the playcalling and scheme, plus the offensive line. But, after watching several break downs of the games. It clearly shows that KFP has NO Accuracy, he can't read anything, he plays like he is scared....TRUST ME, I am hoping with Canada gone that we can at least see some signs of progression. I am a KPF supporter, but something has to happen to get him back to at least look decent for 60 minutes. If that happens to be a reality check and benching, then that's what it should be.

Fair enough. I think him knowing the Oline can hold anybody back is a huge part of his problem but we'll see.

In all seriousness, you have to stick with Pickett. He still gives you the best chance to win.

The Steelers last game over 400 yards was their 48-37 loss to the Browns in the 01/10/2021 playoffs. Ben threw for over 500 yards and set the NFL record for 48 completions in a game but a 35-10 halftime deficit was too much to overcome.

Is this a real question question? without an injury there’s zero chance of this happening.

What you post is true. The 58 game streak is a regular season streak that goes back game to Game 2 in 2020 vs Denver. Ben’s 2nd game back. It was the only 400 yd game in the 11-0 start.

The 2019 Duck/Mason season had no 400 yd games.

So the 2nd most recent 400 yd games was the 2018 NO game where juju fumbled, the last game AB played as a Steeler.

The 2018 offense had 8 400 yd games. In the last 5 yrs, they’ve had 3. But none in 2021, 2022 or so far in 2023.

Nothing like having a HOF QB who hasn’t aged out running your offense,

Hate to say it, but Boller would actually be a step up from KFP right now. If it wasnt for Zac Wilson, KFP the worst qb in league

Again. I could not care in the least about 400 yard games. I care about points, and wins.

    It was a joke… 400 yds… 400points both seem unattainable

I know Washington is leading in passing yards , but are like 20th in points, and have a 4-8 record.

Sam Howell is on pace to be the first QB ever to lead the league in passing yards and getting sacked the most.
