Let's kick it off. Who gets the game ball? I say Dwyer hands down.

no dispute on any of that- but I will also give props to the secondary, Woodley, and Brown. This was a very good effort.

Great effort by several players. Woodley probably saved the game with that pick and why do the Bengals have such a small back-up center? That opened up the middle rush for our D.

I get all the Redskins games here in Virginia. RGIII is going to be a handful but their secondary is less than stellar. Should be fum.

Team ball (except for Wallace), overall played a good game, wouldnt have even been close if not for all the drops.

*edit, no team ball for ST, sucked ass, forgot about that

I am so proud of myself. I stayed away from the board so as to not post stupid things in frustration, which I tend to do in-game.

Not sure how I feel about this one. Immediate thoughts:

    1. Gotta give credit where credit is due: that was very good D in the second half.
    2. Holding holding holding holding on special teams. Seriously?
    3. Todd Haley called a really good game: ran the ball well, able to use play action effectively.
    4. Note to Mr. Arians: THAT is how you use Heath Miller.
    5. That O-line of misfits played well.
    6. Mike Wallace: WTH?????
    7. The Brown to Batch pass was a thing of beauty except...

I am really surprised that some of the things we talked about in different threads through out the day materialized in this game. I said the defense needs to get in passing lanes and get their arms up to block passes and saw a lot of that tonight. I called out Colon for having a chip on his shoulder in training camp and fighting with his own teammates but yet to see that kind of mean streak on the field and he gets after people tonight. Lot of good things happened and some not so good but I was pleased with the effort from every one.

I would agree with the ppl mentioned for game ball but I have to give it to the most underrated guy in the league Heath Miller was huge again and came through on every opportunity he was called on.

How about Mike Adams? I thought that he played very well. As a bonus he didn't roll up on anyone either!

Oh Dwyer, how I have missed a big back who could beat off defenders! Thank you.

Big Doug and Miller should get the game ball,,the next best 2 guys that I saw would have been Dwyer and Adams....

I would also like to give Haley a Game ball...He started with a great game plan and the players failed to execute it...Then after the Ben pick he felt the pressure and sensed the life being sucked from our Team.....He was smart enough to go to the running game and slow the game down, then he started mixing in those pass plays again after he got his unit settled down....

When we get the all 22 look we will see some very sweet things from Doug...People wanted to argue that he is not good enough ,well when you watch his last 2 game tapes you can see he is playing Center at a higher level than Pouncey is this season....Way,Way,Way, above the line....

While things didnt start off too well with leting them march down the field...and the dumb pass that was an INT by Ben (should have either thrown it sooner or never thrown it) and his fumble...but after that they came alive.

    ST:

Everyone except Suisham, Butler, Rainey and Brown....sucked (aka the actual coverage units).

    D:

Ziggy seemed to come alive after the teams crappy start. The DB's had a decent game...I think Lewis was more of a standout than Ike...as Ike had a lot of help throughout the night...Ike definitely played one of his better games though.

DL - called a good game, mainly in the 2nd half.

    O:

Besides the 2 sacks they gave up...I think the OL has been playing quite well the the last 2 games here...no Colon penalties for the 2nd straight game...and his play has greatly improved...and I loved seeing him drive Burfict into the ground and "give him the business"...showing that nasty/fiery streak. Legursky...while people hat on him...he is once again player very very well...at OG...he's not as good...but at C...he is solid.

Dwyer - breaking tackles and running guys over

    Heath - HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEATH hahah

Wallace - SMH on those drops

Batch - I'm not going to hate on him for that drop...just put your hands together next time kid.

Sanders - had a nice game

    Haley - Awesome play calling.

No big injuries either (Robinson got banged up and so did Will Allen...but nothing serious).

I think that sums it up (I know I didnt mention Ben/Brown and such...but those guys are obvious)

They need to keep this momentum going...

Yeah and the sad thing about the gadget play not working is I wonder if we'll be able to use it again. Now that it's on film you think teams will practice for it?
