And by the way, if the dissection of the Steelers faults and shortcomings upset you, I assume your time here will be short:drinks:

    Welcome to the board!!!

You are right about a lot of things, but let me ask you....... Are you satisfied with how this team was prepared to play entering the season? How about Butlers performance over last couple years considering he has 10 1st rd picks as his players? How about Fitchner and his play calling.......?? While he did better last nite a season it does not make.!!

I still believe our season isn’t lost and we have a chance for the Playoffs....

Actually I've been very happy with the season since Ben went down. I'm not expecting too much and I'm not getting upset when we lose. Just the Patriots beat us like a rag doll.

8-8 would be pretty decent for this season of big time injuries.

Only thing I'm worried about is going through all those years we had to endure from Bradshaw to Ben. Mason is not a big time QB.

You’re fooling yourself if you think the 19 dolphins are the worst in history

Welcome to the board. Your post suggests that you disagree with others opinions or posts regarding this team many have followed forever. Your opinion is welcome and so should everyone elses even if it is contrary to yours regardless of when you became a Steelers fan. I am sure most here know the teams current situation without a reminder yet have diverse opinions about it's acceptability of the on field preparation and performance and may not fall in line with your perception of how we should think. It's complicated to say the least as fans vent in different ways. It's therapeutic to maintain sanity.

    Welcome to the board.

They won and needed to. Looked grim to start the game, flat, the usual playing down. Then Mason shook off the cobwebs, the defense started to shut the door and the rest is history.

But, they cannot afford to have these slow starts against the likes of the Colts or Rams coming up.

And about Mason Rudolph, he has only started 4 games. 4! I feel the kid has something. Doesn't get rattled. He just came back from a smashing hit in which Earl Thomas should have been ejected. Shook off the cobwebs and really turned his play around. To say he isn't a big time QB is laughable after only 4 games played.

Yeah, there were some issues last night, but I refuse to feel guilty for being happy that the Steelers won.

You should, because giving other teams a 14 point lead will almost always lead to a loss

Seasons not over. Dolphins could go perfect and lose everygame easily. If they do that then they are in the running for worst of all time. Already on Pace for most point given up and least scored of alltime.

Go back and watch some of the saints from the 70’s or the bucs from the 80’s. The dolphins are nowhere near as bad as those teams.

Unfortunately most expectations have gone out the window with having to start basically a rookie at the QB position.
As Mason gains experience this team will play better as a whole.
But I do agree you are not gonna win many games spotting your opponent 14 points..Especially the better teams on your schedule.

    Hi Mrs Tomlin.

Yes there are signs that our team is not far off from actually being good. Problem is , you can say that about every single team we've had since 2012. This is MT . We've got the talent to win. We just can't get out of our own way. Turnovers, dropped balls, sloppy play, etc all tied in with a few big plays and typical dominance from our OL.

Lets get perspective... The dolphins have come a long way from the first few games. They have been competitive to an extent but haven't been able to play four quarters. Look at these two games:

At the end of the first half-

    Bills 9
    Fins 14

    Pats: 13
    Fins 0

That's pretty impressive for "the worst team ever"
