Maybe Goodell called Art II and negotiated something in order to not file a complaint. Wouldn't put it past Goodell to do it and for Art to listen.

    Just file the complaint.

Yep. "Hey, Art, don't worry, I got this covered. But the league can do without this sort of thing, ok? So let's just keep it quiet and we'll sort it at the next owners meeting..."

It would be fun to watch Brady and Beliache take a lie detector test on all of their *accomplishments. The machine would explode after 10 minutes.

something is fishy imo. I don't think it determined the outcome but the distractions for the Steelers coaches wasn't helping either. I'd be saying this even if it was the Browns who played last night.

I don't know if the headsets are FM or AM. Storms and signal strength can affect each differently. Be interesting to see if the NFL looks into this. Probably not.

I`m nowhere near a "conspiracy theorist", but I have been reading articles, in the last 2 issues of Sports Illustrated, that have MULTIPLE teams` players, and coaches/ front office personell, relating anecdotes, of how there were always "fishy" things going on, when they played in Foxborough..

From teams bringing in their own sports drinks, because the ones provided by the Pats, were either late, or warm, or both...

To headsets, that "looked like they were run over by a lawnmower"...

To, moving their practices indoors, because they were worried about being "observed"...

To allegations of low level staff members going thru the visiting team`s locker room, and stealing playbooks/ "scripted sheets", for the first 20 plays...

    etc, etc...

Anyone here, who reads SI, has read these stories...

They are quick to point out that it COULD be complete paranoia, and, that STILL gives
the Cheatriots, an advantage, because they are "getting in the head of their opponents", and forcing them to spend energy/ take "counter-measures", that they wouldn`t do anywhere else...

    Valid Point...

And I WON`T excuse our loss to them, by saying they cheated...

We scored 21 points, when our stated goal was to average 30/game, and I found that reasonable...

    Even WITHOUT Bell/ Bryant.
    D`Angelo Williams was a beast.
We had some poor playcalling(getting cute on the first drive, when we didnt need to)...
Poor execution(Missed FG`s, Missed touchdown, because the WIDE OPEN reciever, didn`t keep his feet inbounds, etc...)

However... Tomlin is NOT in the "excuses" business, and when I saw how angry he was about the headset issue...

“Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.”

It gave some legitamacy, to the claim, that THEY CHEAT!!!, And have, for a long time, to me...

As SI, pointed out, maybe now, some more teams will come forward with things they have been subjected to...

Personally, I believe we got beat. Period...

We didn`t do enuff to win, but...

It`s hard not to wonder how much the deck was stacked against us, anyhow.
    GO STEELERS!!!:steelflag:

Were talking Patriots here, if they know there's a possible clitch that would work in their favor, preventive maintenance is the furthest from their mind. A filing is a waste, but they need to know teams are on to them and are not going to rollover.

Tomlin was ticked because the coach to coach system wasn't working and as per the NFL rules the other team must have theirs turned off as well. This didn't happen because .....wait for it..... as the NFL offical in charge of shutting down the Pats communication and informing them why approached the NE sideline the problem mysteriously corrected itself so they didn't have to turn off the Pats system. As they turned to leave it happened again briefly and then stayed good for the rest of the game. Tomlin is mad that the league didn't move immediately to correct the issue but rather milled about checking over things.

The Pats weren't having issues as well, their problem was a bad receiver in Brady's helmet and they considered swapping helmets but didnt. The NFL doesn't have rules for fairness in coach to player systems just coach to coach. BB is trying to deflect suspicion from themselves by saying they had issues too. When in fact they could have fixed it at any time.

If I was an owner or league offical I'd tell Kraft that maybe more money spent on fixing his stadium infastructure and less on lame SB celebrations might work wonders.
