They were right to try to move the ball rather than run the clock on the two-minute drill before the half, but the third-down play was terrible.

Somehow it was a flaw by Tomlin that Harvinw as booming punts tonight? The issue wasn't him outkicking his coverage. Two guys on the coverage team got out of their lanes and allowed the big return. That's it.

I agree that choosing to take the ball first was a mistake, but your characterization of what we saw tonight is ridiculous. What we actually saw was a team that was overmatched in talent, so they had no margin or error. I guess you think it was Tomlin's fault that Johnson dropped those passes in the first half, too.
