Why is it that when this team plays bad it's Tomlin's lack of preparing them or playing down to their competition but when they play well it's the players just kicking ass and Tomlin gets 0 credit?

I think it was Tomlin doin' the ass-kicking this past week.....

I won't go back and forth on Tomlin, but we have far too many mediocre games considering the talent that we have. It's not like the Eagles game was our only crappy game. Even when we win, too often we play like crap for huge parts of the game. We need to be far more consistent. There's no reason we can't play like this a majority of the time, but the first 3 weeks were pretty mediocre football, especially defensively.

 

One thing we need to remember about KC though is that week one they were getting hammered and got it together and won. We better not let up all night.
