A little help from the Steelers defense? More like a lot of help from the refs.

 

They really need to be throwing batteries at them at this point.

 

He wasn't doing anything with his teammates, he was by himself. If he hugs or high fives a teammate that isn't called. Emotion is one thing, that crap is another. It's just not needed.

 

Is the NFL the only league where you can get fined for something like what Gay did? I mean people celebrate after big dunks or 3's in the NBA all the time. Guys who hit big home runs admire their shots or flip their bat a little bit. In golf Tiger had some enormous fist pumps and they didn't penalize him strokes and Serena screams "COME ON!" after every big hit but there is no penalty for that. But Gay stands there with his arms crossed and get penalized. Just ridiculous.

 

No they really don't. That's a classless move that has no place in sports no matter how bad the call.

 

Any score, even a FG, with a decent drive, probably put this one away. As it is now, KC has to score twice to win the game.

 

They should of flagged Houston earlier for using his jersey and Berrys number as a prop. That's how ridiculous the call against us was.

 

Defense is playing quite well. No Taylor or Polamalu. Hmmmm...

On the other hand, ACT like a PROFESSIONAL and you've been there before. I hate all the grandstanding so prevalent in the NFL.

I know that call was total bull, but when Tomlin banned trading jerseys I really thought he should be banning the excessive celebrations

The only thing I can think of is that he must have said the N word (to Timmons). I don't think it was his celebratory arm-folding. Kelce was nearby for a moment, but even then Gay was facing away. I don't think that qualifies as a penalty, and if it does, I don't think it would be called taunting. And you can't taunt your own teammate after a good play, right? That's why I'm thinking it has to be the N word.

I could definitely be wrong. It's just a theory. But I've never, ever seen a penalty like that before, and that's a new rule this year, so it's all I got.

Yeah I agree but it is pretty dang infuriating with so much on the line. I know this isn't Cleveland but I would be totally fine if Tomlin SERIOUSLY raked that guy in his presser.

He was showing his appreciation for a nice play by his teammate ,nothing more nothing less.
