Steelers Training Camp Discussion Thread- 7/29/13

I thought Sylvester looked really quick and had some explosiveness to him. That was nice to see. JJ looked really good too.

 

Unfortunately explosiveness has always been one of Sly's strong suits... It's his anticipation that's lacking. He tends to run himself out of the play a lot.

 

When I was at camp on Sunday, there was some idiot in a Patriots shirt there and he definitely had a video camera. We were making jokes about him sending the video to Belichick but, seriously, who comes to a Steelers training camp in a Pats shirt??? Our fans were very gracious. I didnt see one person threatening this idiots life.

For whoever said Jones is bigger than he thought...I agree. I thought at first he was too small to be a LB, but he is huge.

 

and why didn't anyone threaten his life?

where are the true steeler fans? this is not acceptable behavior from our fans. a pats shirt?? he should be hanging from the goalpost and his camera hanging on another goalpost. someone beam that picture back to belacheat. .......................... sorry got a little carried away there. first day in pads and all.

 

He was down on the field somehow....I have no idea how you get field access. I didnt have it so I couldnt threaten him. The people that were down on the field were all watching practice I guess. I just couldnt believe it! WHY would you wear that???

 

My thinking is it may have been some sort of joke/jab at spygate. Something like a bit for a reinactment just to make fun of the situation.
