Steelers to sign Manning!

I'm kidding. You know someone would have started a thread up today about it though.

What's funny was that last night my Mom texted me saying that Manning was being released and that the Steelers were signing him... she got a laugh out of my reaction.

 

sure bring him in at vet minimum to be bens backup. why not. he will have time to heal here our backups don't play.

 

The gold and black Manning attack. I like it.

 

If healed, I'd take him over Batch or Lefty at their salary. With that said, if healed, someone else will offer him a lot.

 

Huh? If healed he would start over Ben! If they chopped his right arm off and he had to throw lefty he'd still be better than Batch or Leftwich!

 

I had to do it to take my mind off the 2 calls I got about people dying. I got a chuckle out of starting it. That's all I was looking for.

If you didn't like my comment why did you post then? I see the headline " The Steelers to sign Manning" only to open and fimd that some Wise Guy is trying to be funny. I find that to be dumb. Thanks to everyone that pointed out that if I post a response it keeps the thread at the top, didn't know that. And thanks to TTF for joining in on the dog pile.

 

So... if I type in something here it makes this thread go back to the top. Well, that answers a lot of questions for me. I thought TTF sat around all day moving these threads to his desired location. That led to wondering when people were going to attack him because he didn't make there thread more important than the next person. For me this whole thread movement was bordering conspiracy levels when, in reality, it was as simple as the most recent post pushing it to the top. Wow!!! my mind has just been blown!

 

Well to your first question, this is a message board after all where we come to discuss facts and opinions. If you clicked on this thread expecting us to have actually done that then in my opinion that is your own fault. Fool me once shame on you? How about fool me so bad that I make an ass out of myself on the internet shame on me?

 

You've got to be kidding. There's no way that anyone, given the salary cap and the QB situation, truly clicked this thread thinking Manning was going to sign with the Steelers.

 

Of course I know we are not going to sign Manning. And to the OP or course I know that when you post to a thread it bumps it to the top. I guess my sarcasm didn't get picked up. TTF said it better than me: "I will say that these types of 'made you look' threads have no real positive value, and should be avoided in general." I'll stand fim in mine though: "Dumbest post of the year!"
