Steelers to replace field at Acrisure Stadium

Gerry Dulac is reporting that the Steelers are replacing the Acrisure turf with a superior blend.

It looks like the Steelers are listening to the many complaints about the field at Acrisure. They plan on changing the current grass field to Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass. It's a mix of Bermuda and bluegrass that holds up to cold temperatures better and should be a better grass field.

It doesn't help the problem with so many games being played on the stadium turf, but it should hold up a little better.

They had to try something.

i think they should go back to astro turf like in 3 rivers. toughen these high paid boys up. when men were men and sheep were scared. it was good enough for 4 super bowl wins. let the opponents really fear coming here to play.
