Mostert's breaking down, don't see him being a big part of that team in the future. SF does run more RBBC, but I wonder if it's because nobody has set themselves apart.

 

Harris was going to be the pick come hell or high water...Go back and check to see who was at Virginia Tech's pro day. I think it was their head of scouting and a position coach IIRC. But it wasn't KC and MT. Like I said in my mock draft, if Harris is there at 24 he's the pick and if Freiermuth is there in the 2nd he WILL be a Steeler. Just the most telegraphed picks I can remember in awhile. I honestly didn't think either would be there. I thought Harris would go to Miami and PF would go early 2nd.

I have ALWAYS been a believer in fortifying the line of scrimmage before adding the skill players, but I don't have the access or knowledge the pros do and they obviously thought they were OK with bypassing O-line with the first 2 picks. I'm OK with that, if they had to go the bypass route, I would have not been able to pick a better two players. I think both NH and PF will be forces in this league for awhile. I'm jacked. I would have been jacked with an OT and Creed Humphrey too for example but there comes a time when you just gotta trust those in charge I guess.

When the NYGs picked Saquan Barkley over a QB to replace the aging Eli, I thought it was the right move too. Two ways to look at it...draft a Prince in shining armor and give him a donkey or build the castle first. Depends on how you want to go about it. I can see merits with both. The Steelers chose the latter.

No way on gawd's green earth Sermon out performs Harris this upcoming year or the next if they both play an equal amount of games. No way no how imo. You are going to change your name to Maddog22 by the end of the season.

I like Harris a lot, I just think our OL is a big ? and the secondary might have us in double-digit deficits often enough to cut into Najee's workload.

 

I'm honestly more worried about the secondary. IMO
