Steelers Re-Sign OL Chris Hubbard To A One Year Deal

I like it and think hubbard has improved from his rookie year. perfect no but getting better. I kinda like the kid. he is mobile.

 

Not being a wise guy, but I gotta ask: how do you know he is improving if he's never seen the field (or did he?)?

 

if he does and gains some better awareness through reps it will be a plus. fosters awareness for picking up rushers and switching off and quickness to make a move to pickup blitzes is sorely lacking. it has hurt many a time over his years here. I thought the longer hubbard played this past preseason the better he got. with munchaks ability maybe our next LG is already here. that's my hopes for him or the kid from SC. they haven't made to many moves to bring in other linemen so far like they have done on the D-line. of course that's kind of KC's MO too. I just don't have a problem with guys that keep making strides forward in the system. I think guys like this kept from the time they hit our team creates some better continuity.

 

What kid from SC, Mac? I've been away from the ipad for a week or so.

 

Ronald Patrick, but I don't see him added back to the list. he may be gone.

 

Oh, the kid from South Carolina, I thought we signed someone from Southern Cal to a futures contract. I still hope we can get Wesley Johnson back from the jets. I think ultimately we may need to draft our Left Guard of the future.
