Steelers Preseason Schedule Announced

Not that any of this really matters, but I kinda wish we got a better opponent for the week 3 "tune up" game.

 

I know for sure every year I get to see one pre season game. Live in North Carolina. They love their cats. Formerly known as Steelers South.

Edit: Woo Hoo, I get two for sure. Skins Steelers is an ESPN game

 

Actually the chiefs beat us or come close to beating us most times we play them

 

Yessss I get to hear Joe Theismann call another game. That guy is sharp as a tack.

 

You mean sharp as a marble right snack?

 

I think they'll be a better team. They had a bunch of pro bowl players so maybe Reid can put it together for them.

 

Is Theismann back with ESPN?

Oh sweet, I hadn't noticed it was ESPN. Every year we play Washington and we get the Redskins' local announcers, and Theismann is one of them. He's horrible beyond belief. Like watching with your legally blind uncle. It hurts me to listen to him. And he was like that when he was on ESPN years ago, too. I can't believe how long it took them to fire him and Paul Maguire.

 

Yeah he's really crappy.

 

I love how the NFL plays up this schedule release like it's hotly waited on. "There's some intriging match-ups" in Pre-season...yeah right

 

Speak for yourself man! I'm riveted to see how well our camp fodder guys come out and play. Lol. It's so funny how the NFL NEVER misses a chance to market itself. Everything is "historic" now. Remember how when LT had that great year in 06 and was breaking all those records? It got ridiculous how they were trying to get people to watch. It was like "Tune in to witness LT break the record for yards gained with an east bound wind blowing at 17 mph during a 6:43 pm sunset while squirrels use their last bit of precious daylight to gather as many walnuts as possible to prepare for winter" and of COURSE we ALL would keep watching and then go "WOW! No Eagles this year. How many years did we play the in a row in preseason?

 

I know you're a Charger...........liker and I think Tomlinson is definitely one of the best runners ever, as I keep telling the locals here, just as there's only 1 "Mean Joe", 1 "Assassin", 1 "Mad Bomber", etc. There is only ONE L.T., and he didn't play for the Chargers!
