I don't participate much any longer over the years, but I do sometimes chime in on this subject matter.

I have 4 Firesticks. Can replace your cable, DirecTV or whatever. It does come with a cost though. You do have to jump thru major hoops to get stuff free but I don't have time for all of that. IPTV, can be a maze to navigate.

That being said, I pay for a service, Cobra Hosting. It costs 15 a month and you get like 4 streams on that one account. I have had Cobra for over 2 years now. It is not perfect as any streaming has its problems. With Cobra, you get everything for 15 a month and I mean everything. There are like over a thousand channels available. I don't use it every day but you can.

Any steaming service though requires a decent download speed. Forget it if your service is like 5mb on download. You need upwards of 15mb and higher. Cobra can buffer at points but the beauty with having so many channels is that you can move from a local channel say KDKA in Pittsburgh over to Cincy's local CBS affiliate. You have access to several hundred local affifiates so you can move your stream around to another market that shows the game. When the Steelers played Denver, I used local feed from Denver as they may dedicate more bandwidth to larger TV markets. So, there are more resources for say Atlanta than Oklahoma City. That TV game map can really help you find a better channel(s) that does not buffer as much. Some games it will not buffer at all and then other days it will buffer. It is also about 4-5 seconds behind the actual live feed since it is being rebroadcast on their download to you.

My advice is sign up for a month and try it out. Can't hurt for 15 bucs. There is no long term contract, just pay by the month.

Now, if you do choose this route, do not use their program guide as it is junky. Channels will be listed in groups and you just have to scroll through each group, like CBS affiliates and when you find the one you want, say KDKA or whatever, just click on it and the channel will come up. If it does not load in the preview window, just move to another local feed. Once you get the search thing down, you can build a Favorites list and then just use that. This service has channels from all over the world and the main reason I got it was to watch the cycling events in Europe since I am a cyclist and cycling here in the US is a real after thought. So, I don't use Cobra all the time but you certainly can.

Like I said, give it a try. It is 15 bucs a month but buffering can be an issue sometimes. Their website will show you how to download the app to the Firestick. Being said, it beats constantly trying to find feeds that come and go.

Dofusports streamed to tv via YouTube...but feed constantly changes and gets annoying. Pretty popular now but way better yrs ago. I usually have redzone going on it after steelers game.
