They showed someone looking at TJ's foot on the sideline, but I thought it was about his shoe

Watt just doesn't look right at all. The Colts figured that out and didn't help on him all that much. Until late, they just couldn't get any pressure.

it would have been a nice stat line if those ahole receivers could catch a damn ball.

DJ was bad but the rest are excusable. Pickens 3rd down catch helps with the misses he had on the low balls

Maybe I’m a homer, but I’ll take Pickett’s rookie year over the rookie year of recent 1st rounders such as Fields, Wilson, Tua, Lawrence, Lance, Love and Hurts. Throw Mac Jones into that mix as I think he is a product of a good system rather than a good QB

Or if he put a good ball on Pickens at the end of the first half. Over threw a wide open TD. Aside from that, he certainly played a solid game.

I probably shouldn't but Im going to try to educate you and help you out.

For reference, here's the screen shot you posted that you claimed Muth was wide open.

The problem with what you are seeing and the picture that you posted, is that it's a screen shot and not live action. If you actually watch the live action, you'll notice on the play that Pickett gets the snap and takes a quick 4 step drop. The picture that you posted is at the top of his drop as he's just planting his back foot before he sets himself to throw. It's obvious if you look at how his knees are bent. At this point, HE IS IN NOOOOO position to throw the ball. Do you honestly believe that he could physically throw the ball at that point, from that position, with enough velocity to complete the pass? This isn't a video game. That'd be some Matrix SH1T right there lol.

At the point, the DB has already broken back toward Muth and by the time Pickett plants and sets his back leg, the "openness" of Muth isn't there and is closing rapidly.

As I said, you do not know what you are looking at.

Here is what it looked like at the earliest that Pickett could've thrown the football....immediately after he sets himself after planting his back leg. Notice in your shot, the DB is on the 21, in mine he's on the 19.

Here is the position of the players just before he actually released the ball, and since it was a bang-bang throw (hit the top of the drop, then throw the pass) the earliest he could've gotten the ball to Muth. Notice where the DB is now? Right in Muth's back pocket. Muth WAS NOT open on that play. Period.
As I said last night....you have NO IDEA what you are looking at. I hope this helped.

To see it at speed, here's the play on YouTube. FF to 4:32

Edit....I haven't even addressed the LB. That's an EASY pick if he throws it to Muth....and you'd ***** about that.

Lol, you think he's "open" when he's actually double covered. :lolol:

You mean the one that was high, but catchable?
I'm sure a Montana such as yourself could've completed it but, Kenny's a rookie!
