I wouldn't be so critical if he had done on 1st or 2nd down. I still think no matter what, the right play was to step out, doubly so with time a major factor. However, Tomlin should have used his last TO before the 4th down play.

I'm not laying it all at Najee's feet. There's enough blame to go around. The one play that was a back breaker was Picken's fumble. That really hurt. On the Colts last scoring drive, the FG, they let them out of a 3rd and 10 hole. Can't happen.

Sure, he and DeShaun probably shared a private jet to a handful (see what I did there?) of them.

The Colts are not a good team. Probably not as good as Cincy or Balt (despite their starts) and likely on par with the Raiders. This just means the Steelers have to win a game they were not likely to win. You give one away - you've got to steal one.

Frazier has done this more than once,if it was his fault?
    This has to be corrected.

It was his fault - LG was looking in the backfield so he wasn't ready and clearly Fields wasn't expecting the snap.

For the better part of the first half, Indy's offense did pretty much whatever it wanted, and Pitt couldn't get anything started. So many bad mistakes and near misses. JPJ dropped a pick in the endzone. They allowed them to convert two long 3rd downs. In the second half, they kept Taylor in check, but their passing game was getting way too many chunk plays. Their slot receiver was having a field day. Pickens fumbled at the Colts 3-yard line. There was a bad call on a fumble by Fields and a very bad call against Fitz for a PF. Then you saw the snap. Fields fought his ass off but still took a couple of bad sacks. It amazes me they scored 24 points with this mangled offensive line. If they had played better defensively it would have been enough.

This is not a good team and I quit drinking alcohol a while back. Fields had three plays that I recall that lost 15 or more yards on 1st down in crucial drives. No QB can win games like that. The Chicago Fields reared his ugly head today. Sorry, but 2 running TDs and 1 passing TD don't make up for that.

It really shouldn't have come down to that....but it couldn't have come at a worse time.

You can blame the refs, the defense, the coaching or whatever else you want.

Really this simple - easily gave away at least 6 points (stupid late hit on Anderson - not only do you lose 15 yards, but it's post play so you lose the down) and Pickens fumbled being careless probably cost 7 (definitely at least 3). Add in the two horrid snaps by Frazier and despite every other dumb play or bad call, the Steelers beat themselves.

    That's completely self-inflicted and unacceptable.

People in the "real" world get written up or fired for those type of actions.

Hokie says not? I think somebody ought to ask this of these 2 Steelers.

Pickett didn't lose 15+ yards on 1st down, on 3 or more occasions. Sorry, but those huge losses in yardage were on Fields....his responsibility. Steelers were on the road to nowhere with Pickett last year....and I hate to say it, but the same holds true this year with Fields.

I wish this this team leadership trusted Justin Fields more. He’s been nothing but spectacular when he’s allowed to air it out.

Cowboys will win, if they don't turn the ball over. Our corners were awful today...burnt toast, JPJ included. CeeDee will have a helluva game if JPJ and company play like that again.
