Steelers at Buffalo Chips official Game Day Thread

This game ... will give the Steelers respect now. Prayer still works.

Huge win. Now we get a treat, our leader's press conference.

 

I want to believe that Canada made adjustments. Because that was a big thing missing from Finchtner.

 

This was huge. I honestly thought the Steelers would have their collective ass handed to them on a plate. Defense looked good but needs to learn to tackle. Oline better than I thought they would be.

Glad Watt is playing. D was pretty much on their toes.

I'm glad to be wrong. Our D was solid all game, O wasn't great but no major mistakes and the blocked punt turned out to be gigantic. Great road win over a very good team.

The entire offensive line was revamped. Timing and execution is hard when the NFL doesn't let you do **** anymore during the off season. Steelers prep was there. Proud of Tomlin and the crew. Going into Buffalo and punking them was a big win.

 

Huge huge win, definitely took all three phases. Lots to fix, but gonna celebrate this one.

D is flat out nasty. Again.

 

That's a big win. The defense was really special today. Josh Allen looked like a confused rookie.

 

They switched it to crosstalk! This stuff is gold! Watching the Lions try to get to OT!

 

Ben plays like crap for a whole half and we beat a quality team like Buffalo ON THE ROAD.

A great day for many of the Steelers young players, on what was supposed to be the 2nd hardest game on the schedule. Game turned on that stupid 4th down call by the Bills, love to read the threads on their site about that one.

 

Jordan Berry just kicked the ball about 70 yards in OT against the Bengals

 

Maybe but I don't think we have much of a rivalry with Buffalo. Now if this was Baltimore or Cleveland? But either way he'll be in his glory.

 

Super Bowl caliber Defense. Offense....not so much.

 

Missed this thread as I was casting the game from my phone. Man what a win!

Offensive Line got their first taste of action together. Took their lumps early on but soldiered on and got better as the game continued. Again, will be a while before we see a quality performance.


That said, how the Line finished is what stuck out to me. That difference matters; doubly so given what happened a season ago.
