He was a backup in Philadelphia, where he won his only start. Injuries wiped out any chance he had in Cleveland. His teams won more than they lost despite the shackles Tomlin put on him in Pittsburgh. When exactly was he in even a decent situation?

 

He gets hurt every time he gets extended playing time, so no, I'm not sure any team will trust him even as their primary backup.

 

You have no idea what those guys would have done with him. Anyone arguing that the system had nothing to do with Pickett's limited production in Pittsburgh wasn't paying attention to the Matt Canada offense and Tomlin's terrible handling of Pickett.

You are incapable of acknowledging that you present opinion as fact, either because you don't understand the difference or you are too stubborn to admit it. You are also incapable of conducting this discussion in a civil manner.

 

I understand what he said after the fact, after the team botched the situation and threw him under the bus and he had little choice.

 

Please stop falsely accusing me of lying. Your claims regarding his motivation were made up in your own head. At best, they are opinions, not facts.
