It's funny my wife's relatives always try and hit us up for money cause they don't have jobs and are essentially bums. Say they can't find one. LOL, If this guy is employed then certainly anyone can work for a living.

The Pittsburgh population drain is largely a myth. While it is true that the actual city's population has declined by 50%, the MSA or Metropolitan Statistical Area has been level since the mid 1900s. Since 1930 the MSA population is up significantly. Only since about 1980 has the MSA declined and by less than 10%, a far cry from the 50% number that people often hang on Pittsburgh.

What happened is people have simply fled the city limits and moved to the suburbs which have been expanding significantly since A) the interstate highway system and B) the decline of the Steel industry. Pittsburgh is merely transforming from old time industrial centered city, to a modern sprawling new city.

Despite the stereotyping, we have an awesome place here. I shudder every time Pittsburgh gains recognition as a "livable" city. The less people know about what is going on here and what it is like here, the better. We don't want outsiders mucking up what we have.

I can attest to the stupidity of the Vol fans. However, I can tell you that I know fans of most of those other teams personally and we are MUCH smarter football fans than them. Even analysts have said that Steeler fans are probably the most knowledgeable in the game. We know our position coaches, practice squad guys, coordinators, owners, and players. That's pretty deep knowledge of our team if you ask me. The other day someone asked me who I thought done the best against the Pats and I said "Mike Munchak" and they said "who is that"? I said he is our offensive line coach and he used to be the coach of the Titans. He lives in TN and didn't even know who Munch is. He told me he knows who all the Vols are though. I'm not surprised. I live in NCAA country BIG TIME. People think I'm a moron for liking the NFL more.

 

This is the same idiot who left the U.S. main land to live in the Virgin Islands. Than complain he cant get the NFL Ticket there. REALLY???

 

I may be dumb, but I'm not Cleveland Browns fan dumb.
