Steeler Schedule

For a few years, I paid the price for going to the local fireman's club and watching the late games. Of course, it didn't bother me as much when I was thirty something. Those days are long gone, so even though I might have a beer or two at home, it's easier to abstain without the "peer pressure" (I actually tried that one a long, long time ago on Mrs. Sod, hey, it was all I had).
Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of the late games, but I can deal.

 

The NFL announced the GB-PIT game will NOT be flexed out of its Sunday night slot.

 

Damn.

 

I already start my days very early and now some wing nut asked if I could come in even earlier Friday for a meeting.

 

Yeah can't get them all. That said, what a lame game that'll be.

 

5:45 am and I feel just as crappy as I expected.

 

Got up at 4:15 (central) little tired, but feel pretty good.

 

The Titans are a good team. That's why my prediction ended up false.

But I bet most of you, like myself, were soiling their pants in the first half. It was typical Steelers offense until the 3rd quarter.

 

I'm up by 5:30 a.m. every day, so these days after night games suck. You can imagine my reaction when I noticed a string of four consecutive night games. This is just brutal.
