I am not sure where you guys and gals stand on 8:30 games but as for me I hate them. I notice after this Sunday's game the Steelers have 4 straight 8:30 games. I would think majority of Steeler fans are East Coast time zone. A lot have to get up early for work plus to wait all day Sunday is just torture.

Another NFL thing I am not a fan of is flexible scheduling. I have seen this ruin people's plans after they planned for a whole year and spent big bucks.

My next life I'm living on the West Coast but being a Pittsburgh fan.

I used to love MNF and then SNF games but as I got older and have to make it to the office way too early, I now absolutely hate them. Especially SNF, It's clock watching most of the day and just waiting forever for the game to start.

Your team wins you can't get to sleep cause you're too fired up. They lose and you're too PO'd to get any sleep.

They usually play really well and win most of the prime time games though.

TNF should be removed permanently. Let the college's enjoy that time.

Fortunately for me...I live on the west coast and I am a Steelers fan. I don't mind night games (5:30 for me), but I do get up early (3:00 a.m.) and sometimes miss the end of the game. This is a big reason why I do not want to move to the east coast...my wife is trying hard to get us to move to Florida (wants to work again for Disney)...we will see.

Not a fan of late games. But for whatever reason Steelers generally play well during them.

Think I remember seeing that we have won 5 or 6 straight prime time games.

If its not on at 1 or 4 I don't watch it live I record and watch the next day.
Unless its the SB or playoff game.
And I really don't mind fast forwarding thru commercials.

I think all Steelers games should be either 1pm or 4:25pm. I hate late games with a passion. I'm sure it's not that bad for fans living in other time zones that are not eastern.

You guys are more than welcome to park your RV's or pitch a tent out here at the Phelan Groovy Ranch provided you don't mind a 100 degree temp swing from summer to winter. Wonderful view of north face of San Gabriel mountains (see my avatar) - this is the back side of the mountains you see when watching the Rose Bowl/Parade. Early games start at 10am (9am for many Pitt games) so you have the rest of the day on Saturdays or Sundays to do as you wish. Night games end well before 9pm - so who could complain?(unless you're not a big fan of wacky Gov Moonbeam like most folks out here on the high desert plains).

I remember living in Hawaii 74-76 and that is when they played Super Bowls around 3-4 pm EST (I think if memory serves me) I watched the Steeler/Viking SB at 9 in the morning.

Looks like I'm in the minority. I live on the east coast, but I mostly like the night games. I think it's a nice break from the day games once in awhile, but 4 in a row is a bit much.

Given how the Steelers seem to dominate on MNF and are undefeated in their last seven SNF games I believe they said the other night, I would think the fans would want more prime time games not less

Yup, I posted about this earlier in the year, was surprised to see that many night games in a row.

However I am in the minority, I love night games. The sleep thing doesnt bother me. As Wade Garrett said, Ill get all the sleep I need when Im dead. And also, dont eat the big white mint, for those of you watching at the bar.

I prefer noon games (central time) but I don't mind night games at all. Get to watch some other games and get to watch NASCAR.
They could start the games at midnight and I'll still watch them live.

I am not a night game fan for several reasons. I am not so much worried about sleep, I get up at 5am every morning no matter what, I do sleep in a bit on the weekends....maybe to 7am. I hate sitting all day waiting for the late game or the night game. Another issue I have had as I get older is when the game gets a little out of control seems like mid 3rd quarter when the commercials come on for some reason my eyes want to shut....

Not looking forward to this stretch of games I know we play better but don't mean I have to like it. I have noticed as I am getting older I am feeling less and less excited about the late games in the NFL......and I won't talk about baseball playoffs cause that too is a joke with when they are played.

I read that the steeler/patriot game will be flexed if both teams are relevant in the playoff hunt, thats another late night game for the east coast....

I don't care for Monday night games because I don't have cable, and I work Monday nights, so I inevitably miss at least half of the game.
The same holds true for Thursday night games. Those aren't quite as bad as usually I can catch those on NBC/CBS or Amazon, unless it's one of those goofy weeks when it's only on NFLN.

I heard that CBS has already nixed that. Broadcasters have some say over it, and Steelers have already announced it won't be flexed.

They might say that now, but if that games is for the 1 seed they could change their mind........

The way I understand the rule is each network get to protect 1 game leaving the rest open to be flexed. I am sure CBS has protected that game if that is true.....
