    Just looking at the standings:

    Cinn 4-2
    Balt 3-3
    Clev 3-3
    Pitt 1-4

Cleveland plays AT Green Bay next week. That should be a loss.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh play each other. If Pitt can win, we could be tied in the loss column with BOTH of those other teams.

Regardless of what happens with the Browns, the Steelers need to take care of their own business

the problem is they are probably going to have to catch Cincy and they already have a win against them. there isnt a wildcard team coming out of the North. they will have to win the division to make the playoffs unless they win 12 in a row.

At the moment this team is 2 games back in the loss column to Cincy. One of those games can be made up in the head to head meeting. That means basically over the last 9 games (excluding the head to head) we need to be 1 game better than them. That is it. Should that one loss be a divisional loss, we would win the tiebreaker.

Lets just win 2 games in a row before we start talking Post season...As of now its like a 10% chance...

Just as probable to pick 1st. in the draft...Like 8% chance aty this point...

you make that sound so simple for a 1-4 team. im all for hoping they can over come their pour start, but even in yesterdays win they were not great.

Cincy has already played and beat both the Pats and the Packers. the Steelers still have to play both of those teams. again, yesterdays game was a nice win, but by no means did they set the world on fire. still no running game, the oline wasnt very good and although the defense played well it was against a rookie that has been very up and down.

if the Steelers can beat the Ravens next week and look good doing it than i will have some hope, but right now there is much of a realistic chance for them to leap from all 3 teams in their division.

I hope the team remember this too.

They played like they had to in a must-win game last night. But next week the Ravens are also a must-win game. So I hope they bring the execution next week as well.

For the first time this season, I am feeling a tiny glimmer of hope. I hope the Steelers realize how fortunate they are to still have a shot. In a sense, the Steelers' destiny is in its own hands. The game Sunday will determine whether or not we have the intestinal fortitude to make a run.

A sliver. Lot of improvement still needed. I've seen improvement every week so thats a good sign.

I'm sorry. My goal was NOT to make it sound simple but rather feasible. It isn't beyond this team to make improvements or to play good and bad in streaks. Look at just last year, 6-2 to start 2-6 to finish.

it would be great if they actually made the game look simple. some teams actually look like they have a plan, but the Steelers dont. im hoping that they can get some momentum going and start making up some ground.
