Spence to practice

    It has been reported that Sean will begin practicing next week. You can only wish the kid the best.

    I have heard he is eligible to practice based on his IR designation. Is it confirmed that he will actually be practicing. Anyone have a link?

    *nevermind* quick google search confirmed it. Awesome news. Thrilled for him.

    maybe on a very limited basis, such as heath did in camp. they can squeeze 6 weeks out of his designation. I hope so. i'm pulling for the kid. :cool:

    It would be awesome if he makes it back. He wouldn't reach Rocky status but he would still be highly appreciated.

    I got high hopes for this kid. Hr obviously wants it he could have easily said my career is over and moved on. Hopefully he still has it. If he does see the field and anybody flames him I'm going to go nuts to the point of getting banned. We won't see the true Spence until probably half way through next year.

    This is great news. Getting back to practice from such an injury is a huge achievement. Can't wait to see how he progresses.

    Jim Wexell tweeted that Spence had a hard time covering his physical therapist and that it's a long road back. The question is why did they activate him so soon from what I understand he has three weeks from the time he starts practicing to make a decision. They could of waited three more weeks to resume practicing and then the countdown would have started. Whose assesment is more accurate at this point?
