We Use 2 cover a few songs by them. At least as a Guitarists.....I wasn't bored playing them. We did Everlong, and My Hero by them.
The songs that were stupidly boring 2 play ...... Live: Lightning Crashes, and Green Day: Basket Case.
Although Green Day : St Jimmy was at least fun 2 play.

Stealing this thread to pay tribute to my favorite album of all time turning 50.

David Bowie: Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars.

Sidebar: I stole the album from Central Catholic High School in 1972. I still have it and am not giving it back.

Speaking of being burnt out over bands or songs, years ago a local station played Stairway to Heaven for 24 hours straight. Same song different versions but all by LZ. I was a huge LZ fan in the 70's. Actually tried copying the pant style, thankfully I wised up fast. Still love some of their songs but turn off radio if S to H comes on.

I love and grew up on classic rock like Led Zep, but I dont listen to it too much any more. Not that its not great. Im always looking for something new thats gonna blow me away. Its harder and harder to be original in rock/metal music.

I just discovered that Dan Spitz formed a band called Red Lamb after leaving Anthrax (the 2nd time). The first time he left Anthrax in the 90s, he became a world renowned watch maker (seriously).

Red Lamb only has one album, and it came out years ago, but the lyrics were co-written with Dave Mustaine. I never knew about this until recently, but I was always a fan of Dan Spitz, so I was excited to find this, and I bought the album.

Clapton, Beck, Page. What more could you ask for? Loved the "British Invasion" and the Yardbirds were at the top IMHO. :thumbs up:

Buddy fresh from prison on parole from attempted murda conviction and already dropping a drill diss. The war between FBG and 600 bout to get crazy. Can't wait for Durk's response.
