No . IMO they believe in their schemes, and abilities to design a play, and don't want a guy taking off , and wasting their design a 100 times a year. Just like a Defensive HCs doesn't like to design a Defense he thinks will beat a play, but someone on the D decides to do their own thing.

You don't know what you think you know. You're guessing and it's not based on any real evidence.
McVay traded 1 QB for a far better QB, and he got a Superbowl out of it. Besides, Goff is not a running QB, he's primarily a passer.
Remember in the SB vs the Pats, McVay didn't trust Goff to do what he needed him to do.

    Correlation does not equal causation.

No, I don't know what McVay thinks or wants.
You shared facts and then drew a conclusion from those facts that isn't supported by evidence.
I didn't draw any conclusions about what McVay wants or doesn't want.
I just said what happened, that he traded 1 QB he clearly didn't trust in the SB vs the Pats for another QB who everyone would agree is better.

In the history of Super Bowl winning QBs, was there ever a running first QB? Running QB is subjective. What does it mean to be a running QB?

Mahomes runs but he’s a lethal passer first. Steve Young the same way. Aaron Rodgers, same. Russell Wilson in his prime, debatable.

    What is a running QB?

I would say a guy who averages at least a 100 runs a year. I know people say why the number, but You have to have a point somewhere. If Your Qb is running it more times a year than your 2nd Rb, I would say he's a running Qb.
Mahomes doesn't run as much as you think, and his most running per game was this year.
Hell Mahomes on averages about 20 more rushes a year than P. Manning did.

    100%.

I do not see Mahomes as a running QB. Rodgers wasn’t, Big Ben wasn’t, Russell Wilson is sorta close but he only ran to get first downs and not get hit.

If you look at the for sure running QBs in the past, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Michael Vick, Kordell Stewart.

Run first QB never win titles. They don’t usually make it the Super Bowl.
