So what has Brian Flores brought? 0-2 against his former teams

Going against the league for a coach who has brought nothing. There's no doubt part of the decision process was seeing we had 2 games against teams he had extensive knowledge on. It's resulted in 0 wins. Is this another Tomlin situation where the guy is just terrible at X and Os?

because our offense was awful.The defense give up 17 and 16 points in his 2 games but the offense did not do their part....

 

And this is without Watt. Hate to say this but a slow moving guy named Ben probably gets us an easy win last night. (note: an easy Steeler win would be up by 10 with 10 seconds left and possession of the ball on their 5)

 

He was in the offensive meetings all week for Patriots game. You know the thought is he should know how to beat them offensively and defensively.

Flores has inherited what he has, and without TJ... well....
I do like how Myles Jack is working into this defense.
Reed, a backup seems to be doing better.

But at the end of the day, is Flores making a mark for himself?
To me, that has to be answered by those within as only they really know what he is doing.
From the outside looking in, our LB's aren't the steel curtain.

I am guessing Flores has input. How much is debatable. I think we all spend too much time discussing a LB Coach.

 

We talk about it because it embodies the issues with this organization under Tomlin. Hiring friends just because. The woke mob said Flores was being treated improperly. After what I’ve seen him bring to the Patriots and Dolphins game plans… maybe he didn’t get the job because he’s not very good.

 

I don't disagree. But the fact of the matter is he was hired to be a linebackers coach here. Nothing more, nothing less. Regardless of the circumstances he is a significant upgrade over Butler IMO. I am sure he has some input into the defensive game plans. Like I said before, how much exactly is debatable.

 

He’s being treated like a lot more. Never heard of Butler sitting in on offensive meetings all week and chipping it on the gameplan.

 

The defense made some adjustments in the second half against Miami, you can't blame Flores for those guys dropping 4 interceptions.

 

Overblown story about Flores sitting in on offensive meetings before the Patriots game, you do know they have a new QB and OC since he coached there .

Flores has actually gotten decent play out of an inside linebacker group that was considered a team weakness. The rest is just you being an idiot.
