Tomlin has never reigned any head case in, look at AB, Blount, Holmes, etc , the list is incredible and he has always chosen to remove the problem rather than confront it. Pickens is a tremendous talent and I believe with the right coach he may be a super star. I also believe Pickens controls his destiny. He can ruin his career just as fast with his antics but if decides to grow up and mature a little bit, he has endless potential.

 

3-1 doesn't surprise me at all. I would have probably predicted a loss to Minnesota but a win vs Seattle if I had gone through all our games before the season started.
So 3-1 is about where i expected us to be. The thing with this team is 1-3 also wouldn't have surprised me. We're very unpredictable.
What is a beautiful sight is the Ravens being 1-3. Love to see that.
Hate to see injuries, but the Bengals are toast without burrows.
Cleveland could give us problems, but they're not winning the division. It's still between us and the Ravens.

Despite the last 5-10 minutes of the game, I was encouraged by the Steelers' performance... They outplayed their opponent for the first time this season.

The Steelers' problems late in yesterday's game are fixable.

 

They do, but they did a pretty good job in run blocking this game. A couple of lapses in pass protection.
