We definitely save by letting Banner go, but if we don’t sign Chuks before free agency starts, his value will be set by the market. Hard to know what someone might pay him. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, especially when assessing a player with plenty of physical tools who has been close to putting it all together, but not quite getting there so far.

Villanueva was 6'8" and he did a nice job. The long arms should keep the defender from getting to his pad level. It's all about the feet for a tackle in pass pro.

On the Terrible Podcast they said Faalele looked too big, and they didn't like the way he moved.

That's what the scouting report said about Faalele. His wing span is a ridiculous 7'2".

I'm sure we can all see why

Great base, a little lean but not more then a pro from time to time.

Those tosses I'd be suspect if he can do the same but plays with great length.
Always understated but needed, what a mean streak! He looks like he LOVES to finish while staying under control.
    F a QB, let's grab him at 20....

My sleeper tackle is Max Mitchell.... he played next to Dotson in college

I had Kenyon Green as my 2nd favorite Oline after Ikem Ekwonu

I like Chuks but I'm not going to overpay him.

I saw someone say Moore looks not like s RT... they played him there in the preseason and he looked very bad... but then again Chuks didn't set the world on fire at LT either.... so maybe it was by necessity that they kept them where they were.

If it's me... Im drafting Kenyon Green in the first..... then Max Mitchell in the 2nd/3rd... signing Ben Jones as a FA.... letting Chuks shop himself

I'll give Banner the start at RT but with a short leash.... Im making KG the #1 backup at all IOL spots and using him as the extra Olinenan to let him use his speed without having a hat on hat

    LT Moore
    LG Kenyon Green
    C Jones
    RG Dotson
    RT Banner/Mitchell

The Steelers OL could use a nasty player like Penning.

Can't we do both? I think pretty much any rookie OT in first three rounds will match anything Chuks or Banner could produce. I think Moore and Green could be solid if at their natural positions (G and RT). Getting a C and OT, in some combination of rd1/rd2 in draft or FA, would be the answer to an average OL (which would be a big improvement from 2022).
