Pats will destroy us with just the old dink and dunk plays. Brady will have at least 4 TD's with 2 of them to Gronk against our laughable LB and CB cover skills.

NO will probably run right thru us with Breese and his WR Group. Look for an easy 40 out of their offense.

Bengals fans are probably buying up tix for the Heinz field trip. There will be a 5 hour caravan coming to town to see them knock the Steelers out of the playoffs while using all their back ups.

We can't even beat a 2-10 team.

 

Tomlin sucks. I've been saying that for years.

That's not how the Steelers operate. What you're describing is predictable. What will likely happen is we will dominate the Pats but make some incredibly dumb decisions that end up costing us the game. We'll then come right back and smash the Saints and look like the greatest team ever in the process. Then, in a win and we're in the playoffs situation, we'll lose to the Bengals.

That's more the Steelers way these days.

The only sliver of positivity is that the crows lost. They have to win at least one of the games against the cheats and Orleans. Hope its the cheats then take care of the bungles. But i'm all out of optimistic IV's. Pathetic showing fighting for their playoff lives. And please don't tell me that Dobbs is a starting QB. Don't.

 

These last three games will complete the implosion. Then the ball is in Art Rooney’s court. Will he save the team and make the necessary changes or will he keep riding the Tomlin train wreck? Time will tell. I think being the creator of the Rooney Rule makes it harder for him to do what he needs to do.

Yep. It's probably been since 2011 for me. In fact, I guaranteed on here that Tomlin would be fired within 5 years. Clearly I was wrong on the time line because I underestimated the talent we would have on the team over the years, but I never wavered from the fact that Tomlin is absolutely overrated. Tomlin is never going to change. He is what he is, an absolutely horrid head coach, surrounded by a ton of talent. How he has managed to fool so many people for so many years blows me away. I've been ripping my hair out for 7-8 years because of him.

People say he has a great track record as a DC and that he's some defensive mastermind. It's simple untrue. If you actually look into his coaching career, you'll realize he was inexperienced and unqualified to be a head coach. He had no business ever being hired for the job.

 

Our only saving grace is our division is not good. Not that it matters unless something changes we can win a championship with our secondary. It is terrible.

 

Well guess Tomlin is using reverse sicology instead of unleashing hell in December he's unleashing the formula to tank the season and be setting at home during the playoffs keeps his job at 8&8 only team were beating is the lowly Bungholes, but then again can't even beat the Faiders!!!

 

Just to add, MT was a DC for only one year in Minnesota on a defensively stacked team.

 

If ever there was a year the Patriots are vulnerable, this is the year. Clearly Brady is not the Brady of old so this would have been a good year to get ahead of them for a playoff run.

Given the current state of the Steelers defense which is non existent, even a not great Brady will torch this group of Stooges. Not to mention that the Patriots with Brady own, literally own the Steelers. History does have a way of repeating itself and if you do not believe that, just as the Raiders where Ben is 0-4.

It would not surprise me to see the Patriots score 40 or more and that would be with a healthy Ben and Conner.

 

Did MT fail to kick two field goals today? Boswell should be gone, we were in position to win.

 

The last three games we lost could of been prevented with better coaches. It's up to the Rooney's to right this ship. If people think MT sucks now wait until Ben retires. Ben has been carrying MT for years now.

 

Can you imagine how ugly the crowd will be as the Steelers are getting destroyed by the cheatriots? Things could get out of hand.

 

Why does Tomlin still have a job? Fire this sorry blankety-blank inmediately.

Rhetorical question:

Can the Steelers really lose 5 in a row?

And now to answer that question:

If they do, then the HC and most of his staff all need to be fired.

If they don't, and if they finish 9-6-1- then I do believe they will still make the playoffs, probably as the division champ, which means that no significant changes will be made.
