Maybe it's the weed but I'm scared to death of Panthers, Ravens, Saints, Patriots and Chargers.

Put the bottle down, Ratbirds always tough then you have the Panthers, Jagoffs, Chargers(only have lost to KC and the Rams), Cheats and Saints. Throw in a trip to Denver and holy cow this is not and easy schedule. I am sorry but when you play Rivers, Newton, Brady and Brees in 4 of your last games that is hard. jmo

Full moon last night you say, no wonder I was in the zone. Love the booze on a full moon. Took another look at the schedule, I will revise to 7-3 at a minimum. I like a split with the Ratbirds, we have been owning Chargers recently, we are due a W in Denver, Jagoffs & Panthers are primetime games which Steelers have had success on over the past few years. That being said, I think the other L in there would be either Denver or Jags. I will be at Panthers game, so that gotta be a W. Is it 5 yet, damn I be thirsty!

I think it may be crack or meth. Steelers will be lucky to win 8 games this year.

Lets see... Ravens, Panthers, Chargers, Patriots, Saints, and Bengals all have winning records right now. Browns, Jags, Bronco's, and Raiders all have losing records right now. So I had this remaining schedule run through Google's statistical analysis computers.... everything looked great then realized I forgot to include Mike Tomlin into the calculations....

Losses: Raiders, Jags, Brown's, Bronco's, and Patriots

Wins: Ravens, Panthers, Chargers, Saints, Bengals

So we are going to go 5-5 rest of the way. Giving us a record of 8-7-1

THUS preserving Mike's amazing record of no losing seasons and keeping him in Pittsburgh for many years to come.

A more realistic take, with confidence %

    Browns W (80%)
    @ Ravens L (60%)
    Panthers W (50%)
    @ Jaguars W (60%)
    @ Broncos W (75%)
    Chargers L (50%)
    Raiders W (85%)
    Patriots L (99.99%)
    Saints L (90%)
    Bengals W (60%)

6-4 over the final 10 games. Panthers and Chargers could easily go the other way. They are tough teams (4-2) and (5-2) respectively but we have seemed to edge them out lately. I can see as good as 7-3 or as bad as 5-5 over the final 10.

We have a good string of 10+ win seasons going, still like our chances. I seem to have the same conversation the past few years at Sharky's during training camp, lot's of 8-8 talk or worse but I go over the schedule and usually see 10+. I'm from north of the border, the folks I talk with feel pretty good with our remaining games. Maybe the booze, maybe something else in the air up here, let's continue this run on Sunday with a Clowns beat down. One bourbon, one scotch, one beer!!!

If that happens, we lose division and don't see us getting WC at 9-6-1.

Very likely the Steelers miss the playoffs at 9-7-1. Chargers are 5-2 and will not win the division since they have the Chiefs. They will likely get 1 WC. That leaves the 2 teams in the AFCN that don't win (Steelers/Bengals/Ravens) to battle for the remaining 1 WC spot. Also lurking are the 4-4 Dolphins that could end up contending for a WC. That tie could come back to bite us.

After what I saw of the Fins last night, they are in free fall and I wouldn't be all that concerned about them.
