    Yes but will probably be inactive. The steelers have a week roster exemption so they dont have to cut anybody this week

    Why would they make him inactive? He is their second best tight end? And by second, I mean by a mile.

    Short week just got back get him back into the flow of things. Im really excited about his return though as i think he really could be more of a weapon then miller. Maybe not this year but absolutely next year he is bigger faster and more athletic

    And I'm glad this was the case...Pope hasn't looked too good. Miller, Saunders and Paulson are a good trio in my eyes!

    I would say Pope will be cut, Tomlin seems to really like Paulson, praised his special teams efforts etc. Miller, Saunders, Paulson.

    I've been impressed with Paulson all year. I didn't much see the point in drafting him at the time, since he wasn't considered a blocker and didn't have much size orathleticism. I heard that he was crafty all around in ways to make up for it, and a smart guy. I admit I was kind of like, "Whatever, I'll believe it when I see it." But I've been seeing it all year. He's try-hardy, plays special teams, and looks like he might be the type to get open without being the biggest or the fastest. And I bet he becomes a decent blocker.

    Don't send him to the PS. Keep him active, activate Saunders next week, cut Pope.

    Pope has been pretty much what he was expected to be for me. Not too quick, not too great. Really no sense in keeping him around - Paulson has looked the more exciting prospect.
